Introduction (Read this first!)
To start off, I'm not an authority in visual reading, and I am not by any means related with the creators of the visual reading process. Anyway, since the "Larin video series" is since long down, and newcomers can only base themselves on typings and incomplete descriptions scattered across the forum, I decided to make a compendium that can be consulted every time a doubt arises.
What I want to do is to post clear examples, female and male, of each type (I already decided a large number of them), with descriptions of the signals, possibly videos with timestamps and gifs. It's a learning experience for me as well, so, suggestions and help will be greatly appreciated! I will write down personal thoughts, ideas, and critiques, as well as quotes by Erifrail and Alerith.
It will work this way: I will update the main post as soon as a new type is ready, and it will be notified with a new post. It will be a slow process of deleting, rewriting, shortening, lenghtening, I have many ideas for this thread and it will probably change day after day, even if minimally.
Je β Articulation
Articulation process is what permits us to, as the name says, articulate our ideas, perceptions and thoughts to others. Usually talented communicators, who leads with an Articulation function is a very eloquent person, that usually expresses itself exhaustively and explains its process in an engaging way. They convey a calm but energetic demeanour. In a certain sense they're contact seekers, even when they are more introverted. You can imagine as if there is a thread attached to them, and wherever they feel the need to communicate something, this thread pulls them toward the object of their interest.
Je-leads are generally not the most spontaneous type of person, and can often come across as calculated, and in some cases wordy. This type of process doesn't necessarily have something to do with empathy or an heartfelt intention to form a bond with others even if, of course, that could be the case. Instead, it has much more to do with the persona: the aim is to sound the most convincing as possible, have your opinions clearly explained and accepted by others, preserve and present a good image, and lastly being simply present with others.
The inflection of their voice might sound exaggerated and smiles might be staged, not personal. Laughter itself could be faked. They might put on, unconsciously as well, an interested and concerned face while listening to their interlocutors.
Je-lead tv host Jimmy fallon is a stricking example of this (some other examples under the spoiler: FeSi Tom cruise, TeSi Emmy Rossum):
