Thanks for the welcome, ayoungspirit! When the sprawl isn't being actively contained (and many times, even then), it's going to happen, haha. 

It would be awesome to contribute to a general illustration of the ways in which Ne+Ti can manifest in a person.

That is a very interesting to me about the CT theory... that it deals with a point of stability within the swirling nature of personhood. People have these ongoing shifts, propelled by life experiences, mood, adaptation, personal growth, fresh knowledge & changing beliefs, etc. But when there's an awareness of what exists at the center of it all, a unifying context for all of that activity is created. And a person can be understood in full ...with awareness of type offering a point of reference (i.e., "No, we are not in Kansas. We are still in Nebraska." haha). 

Speaking personally, when I view my own environmental responses & interactions through a lens of "here's some behavior from someone who's engaging a situation guided primarily by Ne & Ti" (...or, alternatively, here's someone who's not engaging a situation with Se, etc.), many truths become obvious that might have otherwise gone ~shoomp!~ right over the head!

So, yeah, thanks again.  I'm currently here procrastinating on a project I need to be working on, but all work and no play make ohstarrynight a yadda-yadda-something-something...

Hi, Xander. I actually have similar feelings about my body.  On a good day, it can be a convenient vehicle for transporting my brain around to different places, and it has these awesome "perception orbs" that I can direct toward potential objects of interest.  But on most days, it's more like a pet I don't want to take care of ("You need to eat again? Didn't I just feed you yesterday??").

My "strong feelings" comment was really coming from observations of myers-briggs ENFPs (a few acquaintances & friends, including a previous boyfriend) ...not strong feelings in the sense of histrionics or something ...more like strong, passionate feelings about things.  Because I didn't feel well described by either 'ENFP' or 'ENTP' (the "debate & argument" comment) when I was trying to identify my type, the seeming points of difference became all the more blatant to me.  Right now, I'm still in the process of recognizing the ways these forms of cognition play out in people. The NeFi type, in particular, seems to show an incredibly wide range ...from science to artistry to business to the guy who lives next door.  The whole topic is pretty fascinating.
