The Myths of the Functions
This may be a bit controversial, and not everyone will relate to it, but I want to share anyways...
The views below are something which manifests in individuals who have a very firm connection to the unconscious (even if their functions themselves are not unconscious). When things are taken deeply into the subjective realm, the experiences of the functions will amplify themselves and take a far more metaphorical significance to the individual:

I am a disembodied consciousness, here only to examine the universe for a short time. I awoke to find myself in a strange place. Surrounded by lights. Sounds. Noise. I don't know what I am or why I am here. I await the day when I merge back into the void; that is my inevitable return.
While I am here, I live to understand. I exist to question and to discover the equations and symmetries of this life. That is my deepest pleasure. I am a cautious being; soft and unrushed in my inquiry. If it takes me a thousand years, it matters not, as I am timeless. So long as I know that what I discover is true, I will pursue the symmetries lying underneath all things. I long to have the answers to everything.
I am an observer, a guest in this life, and I see how different I am from those around me. I find it curious how they strive in their sisyphean life, not aware of the triviality of their striving. I am chastised for my inaction, but none of us are moving any faster than the other. We are all just as idle in the face of the absurd. I choose instead to use the time allotted to me to ponder in awe at this curiosity I am within, rather than live a life never having known where I was or why I was here.

I am an echo of life; one of many that have come before me and will come after me. But while it's my turn, I live as a representative of the natural balance and order of things. My deepest self resonates with the soul of the earth; the living creatures and beasts. The fae are my kin, and we silently protect what we know is most important.
I am a melancholy being... I sense deeply that the world of today is in disarray, with much of our energy untapped, and a great deal of life needlessly cut away. The injuries of this life are an injury to me, as I am connected to all these beings. I am justified in my anger and my love -- and honest in my feelings.
I can be a bringer of life as well as death, as I understand the need for one to make way for the other. But I strive to protect the living; the freedom and autonomy of all things for the precious duration of their season.

I have in me an unquenchable flame. A burning duality, suspended in tension by one another's opposing friction. I like contrast, rivalry and the escalation that comes from two souls rising above each other ad infinitum.
I am a child of passion and was born to change this world I was brought into. I am the hero of my story, but my journey is still unraveling. Where I am is not where I will be tomorrow; every day I move closer to a new transformation. Life is the most amazing privilege and it is my cherished possession. And I am the advocate and protector of that gift for others.
When I leave this place, the world will know what I did, and my life will echo throughout history. It is far better to burn brightly and leave early, than to have lived and never have shined at all.

I haven't verbalized the others yet...
These feelings emerge when a person is immersed in their nativity. It's a profound resonance with their core/inner nature, and it inescapably manifests very fantastically -- as fantasy is the origin of the psyche. But I cannot do this topic justice, as the experience of each of these is far grander. The topic of the unconscious cannot even be approximated using words alone, as the experience is anything but verbal.
