What do you think it is, about me and them: why do I find them the top most relateable people? What similarity do we share outside the common smile?
I see a few things. All of these people have an open channel with their own emotional energy (except maybe Dawkins?). Most are strong in the ethical function, but also willing to open that function up to the world generously, and not with any malicious or directive intent.
If I had to say, I'd say what you're looking at is closer to Enneagram in nature. That is, these people share a certain emotional landscape/disposition towards life. It might be your Fi resonating with certain people's hearts.
I've found that the way Fi's identity connects to others is more in terms of emotional resonance than temperamental similarity.
But hey, this is just a wild guess on my part. $0.02
That's very interesting. Well, there is a clear pattern to this from a CT perspective.
Your furthest quadra here has most all high Se users (mostly gammas, some betas) average general attitude of EST
Your neighbor quadra here has high Fe+Si primarily (with some outliers) average general attitude of ESF
Which basically says you don't relate to Se, nor the attitudes of E+S in general. This is a very typical attitude to have if you're an IN type, temperamentally. It also seems you can relate a bit more to CT's definition of adaptive Fe, and Seelie Fi.
Ahhh! I think I might understand now... I think your method of grouping quadras is relatively comparable to an observation i've had about the attitudes. Not an exact match, but a close common denominator? Let me know what you think.
I've been meaning to write about this but haven't yet (because it's a very abstract level of perception/reading... sorta fuzzy and I like to avoid fuzziness) but all your examples appear high on the N dimension, which does have a visual signature. Roughly, the eyes appear dreamy and disconnected from reality. Ne and Ni eyes both have a disconnect from the physical world, in different ways. Si is connected by its more fixed or dull stare, and Se is directly connected kinesthetically. But Ni is a bit hypnotic and Ne is a bit fantastical, giving both a sort of absence of 'edge'. They're sort of washed-out, "soft" is a word that fits. I don't know if this hits on anything you see, Wizardos?
And the other element to this I see in your samples is a general attitude of "F", which shows in both Fi and Fe as unconstrained emotional contraction of muscles. In the case of Fi, smiles are lush and break through the cheeks and up to the eyes, and in the case of Fe it spans across the face widely, folding the skin along the way.
Together they produce an appearance where there's a passive/non-invasive gentleness in the eyes, a kind of dreamy invitation, and "amiability" as you put it; stemming from the generous emotional energy elicited. Would you say that's more or less accurate? o,o
