I know the default is to think of dominant F types, but is this always true? I just had an incident that got me thinking of emotions. I have heard ADHD experts describe a phenomenon they call emotional dis-regulation. Apparently, adults with ADHD also find it impossible often to control their emotions once they get upset. It could be something as simple as an unpleasant look from a colleague and they'll be thinking about it for hours. This is all very familiar to me though, and I wonder how emotional types are, especially the T leads?
Do you guys cry? Often? Over very serious or even non-serious things? In front of people? How close are you to your emotions?
I cry super easily, too often, but never out of happiness. It's always sadness for me, hurt. I see some people crying even when they are happy. I'm more likely to dance, jump, laugh or act very silly when I'm happy than I am to shed tears. On the other hand, my tears embarrass me greatly because they tend to come out over things that should not make an adult cry revealing I'm wounded over this and that. Do you guys think this is due to maturity or immaturity in the F functions? Who have the greater Emo Intelligence scores, people who rely more on Thinking or Feeling?

Thanks for the link! Interesting. I'm going to discuss it in my Fi speculation thread. Things like "they feel it as a physical pain" make me wonder, doesn't everyone? Like, seriousy, doesn't everyone? Am I really so different?
