Hello!
The wait is almost over, and we've been hard at work to bring CT into the next stage.
In a few minutes here I'll be opening up the website and taking it out of maintenance.
Site: cognitivetype.com/
Some sections of the site are unfinished (and thus are locked) and we'll be unlocking them as the weeks go by and as they get completed.
It pains me, but I've resigned to demo it where it's at right now, as Ji would have refinement take forever and hold it up for weeks to come.
Quick rundown on what all this means:
This site marks a transition into a sort of CT 2.0 (with 1.0 being the initial book release). The things we have been discussing together on the forum and on discord, and verifying to be true - will be a part of 2.0 and allow CT to actually have meaningful real world applications, and move away from being strictly a research project. Major concepts integrating include:
Theoretical Additions
- Temperaments
- Subtypes
- Integration with Evolutionary Biology
- Integration with Jungian Psychology
Main Features:
- CTVC Webtool (it's live in a demo here, but i'm talking to my coder as i type this to fix some calculation errors)
- CTVC Reports going live
- - - Readings will phase out of the previous format and move towards official reports for each sample
- - - This will be a service/product, but i've not yet turned on acceptance of requests. Will open up reading requests as soon as the webtool's bugs are all fixed
- Pilot Studies
- - - Given the creation of the webtool, more pilot studies will be coming in the future, and there are 2 already present
Articles:
There are around 30 full articles that have been written so far (many with entirely new material) which are scattered across the site, and more corridors yet unexplored. All main tenants of the theory will have an article of their own, and this will be a content-rich website. New articles include (among many others):
Authorship
- The site content represents all the work we've done via discussions on and offline, but the articles are written primarily from the perspective of Renee (Alerith) and myself. It doesn't necessarily represent the views of all CT theorists and vultologists, and discussion of any/all content is welcome. Please make a separate thread for each topic, if you'd like to delve into any topic further. These articles also have 'share' buttons on them, so feel free to share them with a greater audience.
