Hi Everyone,

I got typed recently, been exploring this website and bought the book. It's very, very clear to me now that I have a preference for Fi/Te. I used to think I did initially anyways, but I'm so susceptible to suggestions that my mind is easily swayed and doubt enters in.

But I have to say with what I've learned...I don't have any doubt as to Fi/Te....so this is progress! And I'm very excited about it.

If anyone else wants to take a stab at it...please feel free. I love hearing opinions/suggestions.

I can say how I personally feel is that I've always valued Fi>Te, yet I have always felt insecure about my intelligence. I'm not sure how I feel about my perceiving functions... Though honestly, I see the world in shades of gray and feel like I weave components of existence together like a mutable fabric. I'm more grounded than Intuitives I know, yet much more abstract than other Sensing types I know. I have never really met another person that I felt was similar to me. Robin Williams, Ellen Degeneres and Philip Seymour Hoffman come close, but that might just be the shared experience of having a lot of pain in life and being shaped by that....maybe it's not type related at all? Or maybe I don't see myself correctly at all...so that's why I'm here. Haha

I am seeing a lot of Ne upward glancing as well as gaze darting, and Si eyebrow movements (pulling up in the middle). I am also seeing fluid wrists and some arm waving, which implies Fe/Ti. I am not seeing much to imply Fi in your mouth movements, but am seeing some things to imply Fe (seems more zygomatic than pulling toward the nose).

Based on this, l would say Alpha quadra, possibly Delta. Your arm and mouth movements aren't strong, so l would assume not a Je lead, but that could just be this moment or that you're self conscious etc.

I'm never really certain...though I believe I'm probably a Perceiving type... and I feel like Fi > Te.

I flip flop a lot. So if we go by just what I think, it could change by the hour. I start off the day one type and end another.

I'm the 964 sp/so tritype and HSP...I'm socially introverted and have always been very affected by life...seeking meaning and my identity. I also have quite low energy levels since I was probably a kid, but VERY high mental activity levels. I say the enneagram stuff because I believe it could be relevant.

And I tend to hate this part of myself, but I can be quite contradictory...almost finding a way to disprove whatever thing I initially landed on. Super frustrating.

Regarding your type, I'm somewhat at a loss at the moment. I'm confident you are a "P".

I keep thinking you are an INFP, but I think what's throwing me off is that you seem more grounded than an INFP. So, that makes me think that maybe you're an ISFP.

But then I think I see a lot of evidence that you're an Intuitive. And then I'm back to INFP. And what is also throwing me off is how different you are from my wife, who's an INFP.

But, in spite of all that seems to contradict it, right now I'm leaning toward INFP. I will revisit it. But that's my guess for now: INFP.

I agree with this. Ne/Si seems pretty clear. I don't think you're Fi though. Perhaps what you relate to in Fi is actually Ji. This might sound strange to you if you've never considered it, but could you be TiNe?
