I am really curious about what type James Burke is. Any thoughts? In his show Connections, I think can see the blinking and scowl of Si (or do we always group it as Si/Ne?). He has a different energy in this interview. So, curious what others see, because I am finding that I am not a natural at this typing stuff.

anagrams : heavy scowling, particularly on the side of the brows, is a signal of Si specifically, but if one has Si, he must have Ne too, if this is what you mean by your question. Then, one will have to determine which function in the pair is used more abundantly, against the judging functions too, and by the accumulation of several signal. Here for example, I see indeed the scowling of which you are talking about, and his eyes are somewhat resting in their socket, so James Burke must have Si/Ne in his type, and I see that he has a mostly wide smile with some soft knuckles move in his hand, cold neutralization and a kind of warmness indicative of Ti/Fe, but he is not devoid of line contraction on the side of the nose, does swift moves with finger glued (like karate chop) and a rapid speech not so warm, so Fi/Te is perhaps not totally impossible. Since the energetic aspect is the most prevalent feature and seems to not be quite contained by the judging moves (he still is vibrating and is not hyper articulated and somewhat too quick in his speech), I am inclined to guess he is a NeTi (or NeFi). But you say his energy is different here, and to be precise, one need to get consistent evidence, so more video is not superfluous. I am not so trained myself so take all of that with a grain of salt
Ps : the brows become heavier in some people of all the type because of age, so this is not always conclusive, and not indicative of Si lead type every time.

Thanks, ayoungspirit, for your post. I figured that more videos would be helpful. The different energy comes in when Burke is presenting as opposed to being interviewed. Here is a very short video, the youngest I can find of him where you see his presenting style. Unfortunately, his glasses and the prescription of his lenses make his eyes hard to see.
Here is a really long video that includes interview and clips from his show:
Okay... I'm going to watch this video now. lol.
Here is a shorter interview that has a couple of smiles in it.
I can see either NeTi or NeFi - I assume that he is a P- lead because of how much he moves. His eyes are hooded and small - I haven't convinced myself that they are naive yet. I really can't tell yet if he is eye-centric or not. The way he talks reminds me of the NeTi examples - words come a mile a minute with a lot of excitement - not exactly following the presented typing guidelines, just an observation.
I still have a lot of figuring out to do when it comes to this system.

I agree with ayoungspirit on NeTi. He definitely has the Ne eyes and the Si scowl, but his hands and smile look more Ti/Fe to me.
Yeah the hands do remind me of Fe hands. The smile throws me, because to me it doesn't come across as 'wide'. But, it also isn't as expressive as the mouth of a NeFi usually is from the examples. So, Ti/Fe comes across as the more likely choice. Thanks so much for your input.
