I'm just finishing a college class on the history of rock music, and I decided to create a thread for the typing of rock musicians of the sixties.
Bob Dylan:
There's definitely a lot of Fi tension in his cheeks, and I think I'm hearing Te articulation (there's also an Fi smile at 5:00). I think he might be Fi>Te, but I don't know.
I'm not sure about his eyes, though. That does look like an Si scowl to me, though. I'm guessing either FiNe or FiSe.
The Beatles:
is at 1:37, Ringo is at 2:04, and John is at 2:26)
Paul is definitely a SeFi, what with his giddy smiles and alert eyes.
I think George has Ti/Fe, because his face looks more neutral. My best guess is TiNe.
Ringo has staring Se/Ni eyes, and there's a bit of Fi tension, so I'm guessing FiSe.
And John looks like he has Ne/Si eyes. I couldn't see his face too well, but I'm going to guess NeFi.
That's all I have time to put up, but there'll be more! What do you guys think?

So funny you put this up because just earlier today I was watching videos of the Rolling Stones in interviews... Perhaps I will talk about that later but for now, about those you've posted:
Ok, Bob, I think the function sets are Fi/Te and Ne/Si. It's possible that is not Si scowling, because his eyes are just so small, but I also see fluidity to his eye movements, and the gaze is not piercing IMO. I have a hard time seeing him as FiNe, because I get so much more of the cold bluntness of Te than the sorrow or "don't hurt me" quality of Fi with Ne. So weird but I kind of guess SiTe... ? Weird to think of him as that, but thats what I see.
Paul - agree. Fun person to be the same type as George, I agree Ti/Fe, I can't say I'm sure about the perception functions, I'd have to see more. Ringo, I would guess the inverse, TeNi. SO cold and rigid. Odd asymmetrical face motion confirm that judgement pairing. John, I'm not sure but I think I'm seeing Fe/Ti, his cheeks seem rather flat when he smiles. I did think Ne/Si, but really I'd have to watch more.

I see where you're going with that, but I kind of wonder about Fe/Tifor Adam Sandler, I find him kind of snarly when he smiles... But could be. Only Si leads seem to be "squinting" all the time like that. I remember as children how often my parents scolded my brother for doing so, even going so far as to repeatedly have his eyes checked, which did not actually need correction until adulthood.
Yeah, I had the same wonder about Mr. Sandler when I watched his video. My first impression of Bob Dylan's smile was Fe/Ti, but the rhythm of his voice comes across as more Te to me. So, I am baffled all around.

Yeah, parents can be weird like that. What type do you think your brother is?
Also, now for more musicians:
Janis Joplin:
I see Ne/Si and Fi/Te, and she seems like a P-lead, so...NeFi? (It's weird, I guess that type a lot ) My second guess would be NeTi.
Frank Zappa:
I see the steady gaze of Ni/Se eyes, and while his moustache makes it hard to tell, I think I see Te/Fi because of the micro-headshakes and brow raises. He also seems like a Je-lead, so I'm gonna say TeNi (second guess FeNi).
And finally, Eric Clapton:
Again, I see Je-lead and Te/Fi, but I'm not sure about his perceiving functions. There's a steady gaze, but his eyes seem gentler and he searches upward at times...TeSi?
I'd add more, but my computer suddenly started acting stupid.
From now on, I'll take requests, or you could add examples yourself. So whaddaya think of these?
Janis Joplin... I would guess her as more of an Si-lead, since she seems to look through her brow. She has kind of a wide smile, but she also has those cheeks...so maybe SiTe? (the same type as George Bush. lol.) I like her a lot - both her personality in these interviews and her music.
Check out the brow action in this video:
Frank Zappa... I see the Se/Ni eyes and Te/Fi. I would guess either NiTe or TeNi. Here is a video of him playing a bicycle (or at least getting ready to play a bicycle) on the Steve Allen show. (Steve Allen has some strong Te happening.)
