I am a disney nerd. Excited for Frozen. Can you help me type Kristen Bell? She said she put a lot of her own self into the character Anna. My real name is Anna so I am curious what type might influence this animated character.
"I will never assert that an individual must be the type I think they are. I am human, I still have subjectivity. I also think it's possible that an individual can be aware if they have been mistyped. Therefore, when it comes down to it, the ultimate decision to accept/reject a typing should come from that person themself. For better or worse, it is ultimately up to them...or some kind of perfect brain scan. haha"

Maybe this video might help. She is way more animated here.

Yeah, I'm too entertained by what she is saying in that video to really examine her face. haha. My cousin was also typed to be PeFi. Seems like Ne and Se is really hard to fully nail sometimes. I need to watch more videos of Ne users to see how different it would look and compare.

Oh, so she is probably a NeFi? Is it her naive eyes that give it away?

I actually thought that kind of toggling back and forth quickly was characteristic of Se users generally. One of the reasons I thought she had Se/Ni actually.
But actually ya, that makes sense as Ne toggling, I guess when Se users do it it's more mild.
Does Kristen have that Fi snarl smile? She has big cheek bones, so I wonder if that makes it appear like she has Fi tension in her cheeks, when she might not have?

Ya, I deleted my post earlier because Ilooked around and found a number of Ne users doing that exact thing, I guess maybe I percieved her as being more sharp or something? But ya I can see now how it's classic Ne toggling.
chaoticbrain I wish I had the software to make gifs...
EDIT: I just saw your last comment is gone, but here's some examples anyway.

Thanks you for pointing out specifically where you saw her Fi smile. I am new to this stuff, but I really want to learn the visual cues because it is so interesting! Also, I really like these vids where you show the Ne toggle! I could not distinguish the Se from Ne because I thought I saw everyone toggle, even in myself, but I was read as an SeTi. So I was wondering what was the difference.
But through these videos, I am coming to a conclusion the Ne toggle is like...sharper and very tiny... "micro" toggling. I didn't realize that it would look so tiny! While Se toggles seem more wider and not as fast.

I guess I really need to pay attention to actual signals more so than just the vibe people give off that fits to me, cause I've been making a lot of mistakes.
sitbone oh and you don't need software to make a gif, though that'd probably make it faster. You can go to a site like this. imgflip.com
I am just curious, as far as CT theory goes, how are your friend's and family reactions to it? I tend to get excited by each refinement that I learn about personality, but no one else shares my enthusiasm. They get annoyed that I keep learning new things that discredit the older things I told them. I really should keep my mouth shut from now on I guess and just stick to forums...

IluvHSJ "the Ne toggle is like...sharper and very tiny... "micro" toggling"
That's a good way to describe it. The two points they jump between in the toggle look very close together ("very tiny").
I think Se users often explore in way involving quick side-to-side darting (something distinct from toggling) that can look like toggling. I'm sure they also actually toggle sometimes, I just don't see it in them as much.
The word toggling though in this instance is used differently than other times, in the past people have referred to "toggling" as just darting with the eyes. Just to avoid confusion for alasq25.
