I think Je-lead is really the case here. His posture suggests Je-lead... it reminds me very very of Je-lead Morrissey body posture and demeanour. I agree his J-functions are really tricky! He's also weirdly difficult for me to type. By now I think we can land safely on JeNi. But I'm much moaaar for TeNi by now. His smile, although tricky, seems to me polar Fi, and I don't see any Ti neutralization... the tension fades away very slowly from his face. I think his shade of TeNi would be very smilar to that of Morrissey. But I'm not completely sure yet. I would love to hear more and moaar insights into Clooney's CT.
His hand and body movements are a tossup for me as well. Are those dismissive head nods, or interpersonal gestures?
Maybe another video would help.
Here's an interview with David Letterman who I would argue is a good example of Te body language. Contrast letterman with Clooney. Letterman is very exacting in his hand movements and stiff in his wrists, and to me Clooney is looser in his wrists (puppeteer hands at around 0:58, 4:40 and 5:13?).
Also, have a look at the close-up smile at 1:36. This looks like a good example of a Fe smile to me.
I could see how Clooney could be a TeNi, some of his mannerisms confuse me, but I'm still leaning towards FeNi
BTW how do people condense their videos into those 'spoiler' tabs when they post?

Harman
To do a spoiler tag, you first put a [ spoiler] and then [/ spoiler] to end it. But without the spaces I added.
The thing that made Te/Fi definite in this case I think was the fact that his smile takes a little while to cool down, as opposed to Ti/Fe users who cool down instantly and appear very "dead" in contrast to their emotion they just displayed. It's a little bit subtle, but it's a strong signal.

Correct me if I'm wrong, I think you are referring to the oscillation between Ti and Fe? Ti users will 'express' Fe and then quickly return to Ti (deadpan face). I can clearly see this in Ti (Ti/Fe) examples on this site, but not in every Fe (Fe/Ti) example. Is warmth maintained if Fe is maintained in someone with an Fe lead? In other words, by maintaining Fe would the warmth be slow to leave the face? This signal aside, it's the other signals that bother me...
Here is Clooney's smile.
Here is a comparison to Letterman's smile (snarl)
And here is an example of an Fe warming smile from Larin visual reading
I'm thinking Clooney's smile looks a lot more like Cates than Lettermans, more wide and out than upwards and snarling.
And as for the body language....
Here is letterman using 'exacting hand gestures', with a typical square body posture (Te).

His smile is pretty atypical for an Te-lead, but that's kind of the reason he was posted here as a difficult read. If you do a google search you can see some of his smiles are Fe-ish, but other ones are not so much.
This expression for instance looks very Fi/Te IMO.
I'm not claiming to be any kind of expert on smiles or anything, but to me all of these are Fe smiles (especially the last 4). Couldn't see any examples of Fi smiles.

This is a very neutral expression, barely a hint of a smile. I'm not sure how you get Fi/Te from this, but then again I'm definitely no expert
Think we're going to have to agree to disagree on this one........
Does anyone else have any other opinions, or has everyone pretty much settled on TeNi?

I'm 90% sold on FeNi at the moment. Fe smiles, Ti hands, lack of dismissiveness...
Gah I was seeing the slow naturalization, and I thought because you the same thing I had the signal down, he doesn't actually neutralize like a Te user?

George Clooney's J functions are as tricky to read as the beta (NiFe) forumer silverrvn imo. Their faces kind of look like having Fi tension and their smiles don't give completely away their Fe but if we look with moar attention [and time] and take into account all the other signals, we see that they're actually Ti/Fe users.
