Antonin Baudry is the author of a graphic novel about the French foreign affairs ministry, at the time when Dominique de Villepin was still minister. I'm curious about his type, I think I have an idea of it, but I'm not sure, so I'd be glad to have your opinions on this :
Definitely TiFe user! I'm more unsure of his perceiving functions, because his eyes look gentle (Ne), but that can also be due to Ni hypnotic drooping eyelids, and the movements of eyes are more NiSe (zone-outs, side search, steady stare). Looks Pi-lead, so I'm going for NiFe.

Thank you for sharing! I was actually hesitating between TiSe and NiFe with a slight preference for NiFe, and you are confirming this impression. At first, I was also confused about the softness of his eyes, evoking Ne. But when you watch the videos, his eyes are pretty slow and steady. He seems to be a pretty strong Ti user too, his eyes disengage down several times and his voice doesn't sound infused by Fe that much... May be he is NiTi?
There is one thing which I think, is worth noting about this guy : the way he builds his worldview. In one interview, he says he perceives everything through "filters", mentally adapting real situations into comic strips or games. I wonder if this habit can be function-related, because I've been doing the same thing for a very long time: I'm constantly metaphorizing everything (even minor stuffs) by way of images, or mentally adapting situations into comics, cartoons or movies. That's my way to deal with reality, and sometimes my mind generates really weird associations Anyway, I wonder if we can establish a correlation between this habit and certain functions.

Very intriguing to think about the function-relatedness of "metaphorizing" and mental filters! In theory, if that is Ni influence, I should have that in some extent, too. I use lots of visual imagery to understand the world and concepts and make connections between them. I don't create imaginery worlds as such but use concrete information produced by different senses to build my interpretation on the concept or issue at hand. My approach is often theoretical/conceptual but it is rooted in the perceptible world. If I wrote fiction, for instance, it would be realistic.
Example of my constant associating is that when I watch people's VR videos, I immediately associate them to someone else. I know that is not the correct way of doing VR, but that is how my mind operates most naturally. I actually thought before that this manner is more Si than Ni or Se. But maybe Si is more about exact recollection of previous facts, not associations between similar patterns. I don't know. There's so much about the functions I need to learn and understand.
Anyway, the two people whose expression reminds me of Broudy are Edward Snowden and Dario Nardi. I know there's no consensus on Nardi's type (SiFe vs. NiTe), and Snowden is seen as Ni-heavy Ti-lead or at least beta (but no consensus either). Baudry's eyes have some naive quality, in the same way as Snowden has, but they use their eyes in NiSe manner. Ni-leads especially can lack the sharp Se darting and manic eye locks, which makes their eyes look softer and more like NeSi in my eyes.

May be this could be associated with pattern recognition? I think I can somehow relate it to the Ni/Se map, but Si/Ne users could probably say the same thing I find the perception of reality according to one's type is a really interesting topic, with regards to plenty of aspects, even beyond the "scientific" realm. It could clear-up maaaaaaany misunderstanding, I think
I think I agree with NiFe because his eyes look like what I think Ni eyes are and for the things u all mentioned already.
I am SeTi but I also associate so much and also seem to compare automatically images of other people in my mind when trying to type a new person before me.
I also wonder if Ni makes it hard for me to get over bad memories or experiences because then everything, no matter how small, seems to trigger or make me remember that event...like a phrase, a word, a scent, or even a totally different place. Somehow my mind leads me right back to the distant memory. Does that happen to everyone else?
And sometimes I start associating things with each other that i wish i didnt, but cant seem to help. Just a thing, do you, those who have Ni other than their polar function, come up with some real gloomy warped pictures of ur future when stressed? When I am stressed, I guess all my functions get warped, but I feel like my own Ni gets stronger, but also less accurate, making giant leaps of connections without control.
"I will never assert that an individual must be the type I think they are. I am human, I still have subjectivity. I also think it's possible that an individual can be aware if they have been mistyped. Therefore, when it comes down to it, the ultimate decision to accept/reject a typing should come from that person themself. For better or worse, it is ultimately up to them...or some kind of perfect brain scan. haha"
