From a quick watch, I am seeing SeFi for Seth Green and SiTe for Zach Galifianakis. So... I don't think they are the same type, but they both seem live Perception-leads and are exhibiting the same judging functions (Fi/Te).

It seems like I was pretty far off, but at least I matched their judging functions. I need more practice to become better at telling the perception functions apart. Thanks, jason13!

Well, I am not sure about Seth Green's perception functions. From what I saw, he had lock-on eyes and didn't scowl. Zach Galifianiakis, on the other hand, displayed a clear Si searching scowl. As far as mannerisms go, that has more to do with the judging functions. Fi/Te users tend to make broad, forceful gestures, snippy headnods and headshakes, dismissive browraises, and awkward, personal smiles. Ti/Fe users will make more graceful, calculated gestures, warm headnods, and interpersonal smiles. Both actors display these same patterns due to having the same judging functions. So... you were on the right track. Perception functions and, especially, function hierarchy are generally more difficult to identify than judging functions. Many of the signals are very subtle and often very similar to those displayed by the opposite function set. It takes time to learn to recognize the signals without having to constantly reference the "advanced visual reading" threads on this board.
