It's time once again to look at a character from a work I geek out over and conduct a trivial analysis of their psyche!
So yeah, Gorillaz - great music, great animation, and a wacky cartoon band full of interesting characters at the center of it all. I was tempted to make an entry on Noodle, since she's my absolute favorite, but Muds' functions seem to be the easiest to discern to me, and besides, there hasn't been a TeSi in this thread yet.
A common MBTI headcanon for this fella (there aren't a whole lot of those, trust me) is ESTP, and at first glance, that makes sense. His wild rocker lifestyle, full of alcohol and sexy women and criminal/otherwise outrageous behavior, could be an indicator of an Se-lead who revels in physical pleasure and intense environments. However, I've always seen him more as a Te-lead: in my eyes, he is a very ambitious and driven man who's gotten his band to where it is by scheming, (micro)managing, manipulating, and working hard to make good music; like the SeFi Amethyst, he has a forceful personality, but rather than the wild fire of Se, his seems to be the muscling, bulldozing force we attribute to Te. Come to think of it, he reminds me a lot of Erifrail's descriptions of people like Madonna and Lady Gaga here; behind all he does, including his expression of shocking behavior, is this incredible drive to both succeed and use that success to address some grievance carried by the Fi from earlier years (he grew up in an abusive household, and it's mentioned a few times in canon that his need to become famous is at least partially out of a desire to stick it to his shitbag of a father).
For a while, I thought he might be TeNi, but then I decided that his perceiving functions looked more to me like Si/Ne than Ni/Se. He has an extensive knowledge of and passion for music history, and anyone who's listened to a Gorillaz interview might notice that he has a serious tendency to ramble; and much like many Si/Ne comedians, he uses it to crack jokes and tell interesting stories. His Ne, especially, stands out to me; this is a guy who craves novel amusement and is full of out-there ideas, and through his Te, he accomplishes all sorts of insane stunts (in the previous album, he turned an island of garbage into a fancy tropical hideout, built a cyborg using his guitarist's DNA, and somehow trained a freaking whale to terrorize his cetaphobic singer, whom he kidnapped and kept hostage in an underwater bunker; Lord only knows what he's gonna do for the upcoming album). This being a Jamie Hewlett creation, it's got to be crazy, and Mr.Pickles Niccals (couldn't resist making the old fandom crack) certainly delivers in that area.
Image source is right here. There's automatic music, just to warn you. ^^

Alrighty, there's my third character analysis! I really hope y'all enjoy it, and I'd also like to talk about the other three bandmembers sometime (especially Noodle, because she is the fabulous TiSe queen of my heart).
