We'll be trying the first vidchat. Things to bring might be a video link or two, on hand, of a clear celebrity video you'd like to analyze. We may go off-course the first few times, as we might need time to just go through introductions and feel things out.
We just finished the first session. Great vidchat guys!
So this time around we had: mcgheezie, mystery, ayoungspirit, champagne_dad, morsecode, swiveling, erifrail.
Recap: Video Introductions - After getting the video/audio to work... - Went through where psychology is at right now (pre-scientific). - Touched upon what CT is, where its limits lie, and how it differs from a personality theory. - Touched upon MBTI and what defines it as a personality theory, compared to JCF or CT. - Touched upon the dangers of typing fixations and "tunnel vision"; wanting to narrow it to 1 of 16 from the start. - Asked questions/analyzed ayoungspirit = Pi-lead - Asked questions/analyzed champagne_dad = Pe-lead - Asked questions/analyzed mcgheezie = Pi-lead - Analyzed mystery from audio = strong J use - Analyzed morescode = Ji + Pe user
This was fun. We didn't get to delve too deeply into a lot of things, but we at least got a feel for what everyone's type is [or narrowed it down]. If any of you wanted to share some thoughts on the vidchat, feel free to post... and/or discuss follow-up questions.
During the vidchat, I asked a question concerning the possible confusion between CT signals themselves, or even non-CT signals elements. It was firstly meant to identify my quadrant, which has been a subject of debate in past assessments.
You then carefully explained the difference between what would appear to be a rigid torso with a fluid neck and head (Pi-lead), and a wholly rigid posture with exerted pushes (Ji-lead). I understood from there that confusion should arise mostly from improper differentiation from the observer, and not from similar signals with different meanings (or without one altogether).
Nevertheless, I also raised a similar interrogation concerning the interpretation in and out of CT of blinking eyes. I would very much like you to expand on this subject, and notably to state if it still is part of the Vultology code.
Alright, so... how are we going to do it this time around? Does the same time work for everyone? Would you prefer we use Skype again, Google Jangouts, Tinychat, or a different option? Feel free to chime in with ideas.

I can work with tomorrow at 1:00 EST/10:00 PST. Could also do late tonight.
Heya - yes indeed. I'm still up for tomorrow at 10:00PST.
Skype, yeah.
On the last chat we talked about using Twitch.TV to share monitor screens (and thus videos) but I did some research and found out that Skype has a "Share Screens" mode that lets us share our PC desktops with the rest of the chat room. I tried it and it works great, so that way we can analyze youtube videos in realtime as a group!
But my PC's performance gets taken up by it, and I wanted to also record the desktop but I'm not sure I can pull it off. If another one of you could record a screencapture of the chatroom while we're having the session that would be great to have and share with the rest of the forum.
