Alongside the "Brief Overview" series I'll be making this addendum series. This thread will be for raw data videos.
Rather than pointing someone to a list of a dozen separate videos (or worse, giving them a written list of celebs) I hope this can help bring the content home more easily. It's an effort to take the sample data spread across interviews and intro/outro distractions, and condense the raw data into an easily accessible form. These videos will be "unlisted" on youtube, and mainly used by visual readers for comparisons or as a general resource.
Making the Overview series incidentally generates the material to create this one, so I figured I might as well make it another series, since the data is already in this form!
Anyway, I hope this can be a useful starting point also for new aspiring readers -- it's a more "meaty" series than the brief overview series.
In preparation for the next overview video, here's the FeSi raw footage:
It's especially refreshing to put this together for samples #7, #8, #9 -- which showcase a more "warm and adaptive" FeSi shade, that can be tricky since it almost seems revising, when it isn't.
Fe's capacity to be adaptive has some behavioral overlaps with revising (Pe/Ji) energy, but a closer examination reveals that the FeSi retains all the qualities of coordination (even if it's a yielding coordination) and also has a modest type of 'fowardness' which is not pushy but still has a point to get across.
Added to this, we see the prioritization of Fe over Ti by the prevalence of the smile which never fully cools down and stays "on" in some capacity; giving them an overal "ethical" vibe which seems affected and concerned with humanist sensitivities.
Sorry this one took so long. In the middle of moving homes (again) and it's been chaotic. Hope to have a more stable place to work soon-ish.
The first few samples show whispery, seelie FiSe's, and they switch at Enya, who is displayed in two forms. When youngest: Fi, and when older: Te. From there, Marissa Mayer and Neri Oxman show more Te-heavy versions.
And then it loops back to somewhat seelie/unseelie FiSe Prince Nelson and Kanye West. It's not everyone (limiting it to ten) but I hope it provides a clear enough introduction to the vultology of the type.
@forum - I'll be away from internet for an unforeseen length of time (probably 1-2 weeks) in case I don't reply to your PMs or posts.
Ok, finally getting off my ass and continuing this!
1) Sam Harris -----Ti heavy 2) Elon Musk ----- Ti heavy 3) Tiger Woods --- Se moderate 4) Jamie Chung --- Ti heavy 5) Marques Brownlee -- Se moderate 6) Norman Chan ------- Se heavy 7) Christian Hudson ---- Fe heavy 8) Tony Hawk --------- Se moderate 9) Kim Jonghyun ------- Se moderate 10) Choi Minho -------- Fe moderate
The TiSe is an analytical creature, usually somehow 'connected' to reality, but disconnected from it too. While they perceive it pretty much "as it is" materialistically/empirically, they form their opinions of it very introspectively via a First Principles sort of logic. Often times their views of reality are surprisingly meticulous, not necessarily semantically, but objectively nuanced.
Unlike many Te users, the TiSe is very concerned with finesse, subtlety and the 51/49 differences in elements that constitute the real world. Where other Te thinkers see broad strokes, the TiSe sees fine granularity. Because of this, the TiSe is a precision shooter, and a specialist in matters of craftsmanship, engineering, art, etc.
This is what gives Elon Musk his edge, as he's articulated that he begins all his enterprises from a "first principles of physics" way of thinking. He starts out thinking "is it possible, physically" and then if the answer is yes, he reverse-engineers the logistics to align with the Ti architecture/design he's built from first principles of physics. This has lead to the vertical integration methodology of SpaceX and Tesla, down to how their Gigafactory was designed. Everything Elon creates is thought through from the bare fundamentals.
Now this is rare because engineering is typically a Te domain. Indeed, a TiSe in engineering is a wildcard, but I think that's exactly why Elon has succeeded. Te doesn't like to waste time, Te likes to move forward efficiently, and stopping to redesign something from absolute scratch the "right" way is hard on Te, who would rather compound something together and at least pop out a product, than to take inordinate risks on a full overhaul.
This is why I sometimes call the TiSe an Ace; they're not strongly represented in many fields, but occasionally one pops in and just outright climbs to the top. Very odd. Tiger Woods and Tony Hawk represent Aces as well. For obvious reasons.
Marques Brownlee and Norman Chan represent the more aesthetic side of the TiSe. Again, very meticulous but in their case it's meticulous about "tech". But now I'm just repeating what I've written elsewhere...
Wasn't able to balance this one in the male/female sense, but I hope the pattern comes across. We've got the grandfathers at the front, and some younger meat at the back. Wrapping it up with Gandalf!
It's interesting to me how in Hollywood, FeNi/NiFe males often land the roles of sages or hypnotic social movers. Morgan Freeman, Denzel Washington, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Mandy Patinkin... all play God (Bruce Almighty), Prophets (Book of Eli), Psychics (Xavier), Wizards (Gandalf), Intuitive Detectives (Gideon) or variations thereof.
I think there's a kind of synchronicity between nature+culture that happens, where the people with the types most naturally parallel to the archetype-- are selected to fit roles that people understand intuitively. I have a tentative suspicion that this may be responsible for the disproportion of few high-Fi males (but many high-Fi women) in Hollywood. As well as a decent amount of high-Fe men, especially male leads, but fewer high-Fe women. But this is just a passive observation and nothing beyond anecdote, and probably biased to my very limited scope of media consumption. I just find it interesting/compelling that Hollywood would (appear to) select strong Fe male protagonists and Fi women more often.
Collo I was thinking Nichol Bradford (#6) reminds me of your friend a bit, but perhaps with a tad more confidence. Nicholas Hoult (#9) looks just like an NiFe I know irl, who I may have brought up once or twice before. He's very into nature and spirituality through Se channeling. I may be able to get a video out of him.
Here's the SiTe video. My gosh, the similarities between the first 4 are spooky. It's like they're the same person.
I could have introduced some more complicated samples into this video but I decide it'd be best to "set the pattern" before introducing exceptions, as that is the main purpose for this series. But in the future I'd like to make dedicated videos for subtypes like SiTe-Ne, as Zweilous you requested.
With this one I manage to balance out the male/female samples fairly well. You'll see that the female examples have a bit less of a yang energy to them. But the pattern is still discernible running through them all.
As is important to note about Fe-leads, even though they're extroverted, it's not always about strong quantities of energy coming out. Sometimes it's simply conductor energy, pushed with ease/resolve from a place of judgment and rigidity.
Hope you guys are enjoying the series! A tally count:
Well, there are 5 Te users and 4 Fe users done, and 5 Se to 4 Ne. So an Alpha would balance out what we currently have.
5 Conductors and 4 Revisors, and only 1 of the Si/Ne-users is Ne>Si (compared to 3 Se>Ni). So TiNe or NeTi would be good.
Technically next in the pattern would be NeTi to balance out introvert/extravert.
I'm a bit biased toward TiNe because I'm the one exposing my friends to this stuff, and it's fun to show them TiNe and watch them freak out over "OMG who are these people and why do they look like Zweilous in a different body". Makes for a good intro into what we're measuring and what to keep an eye out for.
I'm fine with either. Revisor Alphas are also highly represented types on the boards, so it's probably giving us the least trouble collectively. I say TiNe/NeTi if we're going for max representation for newbies, or TeNi (with male/female) to follow up FeNi and help the boards with a more difficult type.
