It's interesting to see an Ne-lead (I suspect) like her talking about this subject, as a sort of meta-awareness of what she (and indeed everyone, to various degrees) does as far as drawing loose associations (N) via cross-contextualization, and misremembering.
I know that as a high-Ne user, misremembering little details is something I do a looooot. I also know I do it more than my SeTi brother, who fact-checks me often on what actually happened. Checking with family, photos and history seems to consistently show he was more right than I.
I would postulate that Ne, or... really polar/lower Si, is more prone to misremmeber since memory is a type of perceptive information, which Si stores but which Ne manipulates constantly and freely. It's very easy for Ne to believe it saw something it didn't or confuse imagination with fact, especially when you consider the refresh factor which is essentially a reinterpretation every time it's recalled; each time getting further from the source (S).

Ne lead? Really? I'm seeing a ton of down-left Ni gaze drifts, followed by Se eye locks. Back and forth in almost equal measure. (Start at 1:44) The roughly equal timing on these makes me assume Ni/Se or Se/Ni is the Aux/Tert set. She also has that distinctive Se eyebrow tug at the arch, and doesn't do the Si pull at the center of the forehead. I'm not seeing Ne/Si at all.
I'm also seeing a lot of Fe arm waving, nodding, and agile hands/fingers (especially in the close up on her hand movements in the OP video). She's doing a lot of emphasis nodding (Je lead), but there's also a lot of confirmation facial expressions to make sure her listener is still following. The 'Fe glow' is on her a lot as she expresses her feelings on this subject that she's passionate about.
As you mentioned, SeTi is a reality checker by nature, and so are TiSe's and FeNi's. I'd wager it's the Beta function combination.
This subject matter couldn't be more FeNi, and she seems like the FeNi poster child to me. But maybe I'm biased because of my instacrush. ;-)

Ana has always struck me as TeNi. Her hands are stiff and choppy. She doesn't do the Ti/Fe peaks and valleys in her speaking tempo. She's very insistent and demanding in her statements. Her voice is more shrill like Te. Looking at stills, it's clear that her upper lip is far more active at the peak than not. Her full smile looks kinda Fe, but there's a clear snarl to it.
Fi mouth:
Te snarl:
Meanwhile, Anne does a TON of clear Ni down and left gaze drifts followed by Se gaze locks. Like, to the point that I'm honestly shocked that you're seeing Ne in her at all. I've long assumed Anne to be an FeNi. Both of them do that thing that me and Patrick Stewart do. Ni, Se, Ni, Se, Ni, Se, back and forth.
As contrast to Ana's Fi mouth, it's almost impossible to find an image of Anne doing it unless the image has clearly been manipulated, like a magazine cover or a movie poster. Here's the closest I could find, and it's still pretty clearly different than Ana's Fi mouth.
She almost never opens her lips until she's already very much into the zygomatic pull.
But if you read Anne and Julia as NeTi and I read them both as FeNi, then at least we're seeing the same things. ;-)

I just read her book a few weeks ago and it's excellent. There are some weaknesses, but overall she's very convincing, and I think it's a really important topic for people in criminology, sociology, etc.
It's interesting to see an Ne-lead (I suspect) like her talking...
I'm very curious to understand how you're seeing this as Ne lead.
What I'm seeing are the following: - Eyebrows consistently pull at the arches (Se/Ni), not the middle of the forehead (Si/Ne) - Eyes drift down and away (Ni) and don't really scan the vicinity, but her own thoughts (Ni) - Eyes dart back to the subject and lock (Se) until drifting again - Back and forth between drifting and locking implies Ni and Se are the Auxiliary/Tertiary functions, rather than Dominant/Inferior
What I'm not seeing: - Upward and erratic eye darting that is vicinity tracking (Ne) - Upward scanning when checking own thoughts (Ne) - Floating eyes aimed in the general direction of the subject (Si)
If I'm seeing this incorrectly, I would genuinely love to be corrected.
