Yeah I think much of the time, MBTI matches up with the cognitive function use, but we are examples of cases were it doesn't quite fit. I really wouldn't ever think of myself as an ESFP, ENFP still feels right, but I see how it's not Ne. I have a friend who I kept insisting must have been an INFJ, but I see now it's very clearly NiTe-Fi. Pretty cool! SaveSave
simonemusic (Joseph) , Discord is a separate app (which you can find either on the Discord app website or in the iTunes store) that allows each of us (from the Cognitive Type community) to chat with each other in real time. Also there are specific groups that are divided by cognitive function(s). It's a fun place to hang out with each other and to have all sorts of discussions and question/answers in a more immediate timeframe. If you do join, it would be awesome to connect because I want to compare our distinct experiences with Ni/Se and 'quasi-Ne', because (again) I think that we have great similarity in this regard.

Auburn I was wondering if you had any other examples of SeFi-Ni? I noticed there weren't any on your celeb list. I'm happy that I'm rare and special, but it would also be cool to see some other examples lol. I relate to elements of The Feisty Unseelie and The Gypsy shades.

sitbone Thanks for the example! If I compare her to me, she does still seem more Se. I made another video as an example talking about what my type feels like to me. There seems to be a lot more Ni happening in my video. I seem to heavily go back and forth between amped-eye toggling and really sleepy Ni eyes.
mikesilb and simonemusic (Joseph), Aurburn captrues what I was trying to say about gamma art and the juxtaposition of the morbid with the living. Beta do that with shape and color, but gamma do that with living elements. Se shock value + Ni poignancy.
My brother just did some paid undergrad research in math, and the girl he worked with was very likely SeFi (I only heard her speck for about 30 seconds, but she was standing there the whole presentation). A SeFi acquaintance of mine is getting her doctorate in linguistics. Some people hav said she comes off as being shallow, but she really is not. They see that, too.
And I know another FiSe who went straight into engineering after high school because the path made sense to her. This if all very, very far from the stereotypes that creep up in most typology communities.
