FiNe & Physics
As always, the following is something that may be shocking and controversial.
I was contemplating why I had come across so few TiNe examples, and I decided to investigate in a field I thought would have plenty of them. I searched for a list of Nobel prize winners in Physics for the past two decades, and watched their videos one after another. I was shocked to find that the overwhelming majority of them are in fact FiNe, NeFi, and TeSi. There wasn't a single TiNe among them.
Additionally not only in physics but in computer software. Bill Gates, Albert Einstein, Linus Torvalds, Edward Witten are all Fi+Ne users.
This utterly shatters the notion of what an "INTP" is, and I've finally found the missing piece to understanding FiNe's.

FiNe are actually empiricists, moreso than TiNe, and their affinity for their polarity (Te), which is the second half of their psychic identity, generates this craving to understand the axioms of how the objective world orders itself. Completely contrary to modern opinion, it is not the TiNe that are socially dispassionate and uninterested individuals who seclude themselves and tinker with algorithms and science. As I've mentioned in previous threads, Fi is not a social dynamic process, it is akin to Ti in its disassociation from the external world, but is one of private emotions and convictions. Fi-leads, FiNe in particular, may have little or no concept of how social dynamics operate, but may have a much more comprehensive understanding of how physics laws operate -- and that is their mode of interest.
In the failure of being unable to communicate with the social world due to lead-Fi, the impulse is to utilize Te to manage reality.
FiNe and Mild Autism
Alerith and I were discussing this and we wanted to share some thoughts. Though I think Autism is a legitimate brain anomaly, I've also found that among the NeFi/FiNe I have known, several of them are diagnosed with moderate Autism due to this inability to manage social dynamics. I would speculate a fair percentage of borderline-autistic or supposed autistic people may simply be strongly socially challenged high-Fi individuals. Similar to the over-diagnosing of NeTi children as ADHD, or of Fe-leads as having BPD. But this'll be looked into more closely.
(p.s. the list of reads above are tentative reads. I haven't gone too in depth on all of them and for several there isn't too much footage but I'm sure they're all in that ballpark)
