Yeah, so many NeFi mistype as INFP because in reality NeFi's are often quite introverted - by any conventional and laymen use of the word.

And yea, a second vid would really help solidify it. Doing it in a different setting, if possible with another person. You're right in saying its awkward talking to a camera. Also, if you happen not to have anyone around, I'm on skype too - and some of the other readers are too. We've been thinking about adding a skype 'meeting' option for typings since that way the mental gears really get going.

Thanks again! I was 90% sure I was NeFi, but it feels great to have external confirmation. Earlier you mentioned me being a NeFi-Si subtype. I haven't gotten around to doing much detailed research around here yet, so I'm not exactly sure what that entails. I understand the NeFi but does the Si just mean that my eyebrows like to dance more than they should? xD Any more insight into this would be great. I suppose I can also do my own research as well.

teatime - You did seem to have a developed Si (visually, too) yep. I'm not sure I'd say you're an Si subtype but your Ne seems to be toned down somewhat, which also happens with time. If you're not NeFi-Si then you're on your way there!

xD Any more insight into this would be great. I suppose I can also do my own research as well.

Actually, there's a lot we still don't know about the subtypes and we could use all the help we can get.

The way CT goes about things is we base our descriptions (profiles) off real people.
We recently (~8 months ago) concluded that the phenomenon of type required a 4 subtype framework, but we don't have tons of information yet on what some of these are like. The NeFi with heavy Si is one such case.

So whatever you guys can tell us about yourselves would be most excellent. That information will be used to eventually create a second book that elaborates on the 64 subtypes in full detail.

Hey Sean,

I found the best way for me to discover my Enneagram tritype was to spend time with other people who were also familiar with their core types. By interacting with other types, I was able to hone in on my tritype. My best friend is a 147, I am a 739, and I am friends with another fellow who is a 478. By spending time with them, I could compare and contrast my core type with their core types. These sorts of interactions brought a lot of clarity for me as I could actually hear the language that different core types use. I found this trial-and-error method was much more effective than online tests in helping me to understand my Enneagram tritype.

When I finally settled on my 739 tri-type, I had a major a-ha moment. I thought I was a 297 and then a 729 but these combinations never really hit the spot. Everything made sense once I saw myself! It has been a wonderful journey for me.
