Hi,
For those who would like an in-depth initial introduction into the Te/Fi constellation of signals, I put together a video breakdown below. It was very on-the-fly, so I'm sorry about my soft articulation... but I hope it's useful to some? I'll do a more proper one later, but I realized I hadn't done something like this until now and think it could be quite helpful?
I go through 1 minute of footage in 10 minutes.
10 Minutes of Te/Fi Micro-Pausing & Commentary
Some of the Signals Mentioned:
- Fi/Te Taut Square
- Fi/Te Horizontal Splitting of Cheeks
- Fi/Te Asymmetrical Mouth
- - Pursed
- - Concave
- - Convex
- - Pulling Up-left, Up-right, Down-left, Down-right
- Fi/Te Snippy Browraise
- Fi/Te Snippiness / Sassiness
Psychologically...
When we see someone who displays a signal cluster as complete as the above, they can be expected to have Te/Fi's psychology, which may (among many other attributes) produce:
1. Process-Orientation
This individual will have a very objective view of how elements of the world work together in a clockwork way. Their minds think 'causally' in a very logical way, so they'll often be driven into careers that are empirical and process-oriented. That may be a degree in economics, a career in computer science, engineering, mathematics, etc. If they're into business, they may be entrepreneurial and have their own startup. And even if they're into their more Fi topics or things like psychology -- they'll often capitalize on that interest through a financial avenue. A good example of this is PsycheType, run by an NiTe (alt: SiTe) whose made it a revenue stream. High-Te types will have a tendency to make things into revenue streams.
2. Politics & Personal Rights
This individual may have acute and very individualist opinions about politics, especially as it relates to the rights of personhood (i.e. gay rights (LGBTQ+), women's rights, gun ownership rights, etc). If Te is higher, they will tend toward "non-interventionism, laissez-faire capitalism and the abolition of the welfare state" at one extreme. They may be anti-collectivist/socialist, conservative, may want to maximize security, protect the boundaries of their own identity/family/country and generally have a meritocratic philosophy. If Fi is heavier than Te, they may focus a lot more on personal freedoms (the non-interventionism), the rights of all groups including animal rights (animal cruelty), nature/planet conservation and certain forms of socialism that don't infringe on people's freedoms, while still honoring the fact that all individuals have an innate right to be here (i.e. right to healthcare).
