I was watching this clip of Peterson and noticed this thing he does with his eyes when he's recalling exact/precise information. He looks to the side in the typical Pi way but his eyes look up and toggle rapidly in the Ne manner. I have seen it twice here precisely when he is trying to retrieve details, in particular, words. Is that Ne looking through Si data-sets? I ask because Peterson is officially typed FeNi-Ti/NiFe here.
See from 0.20 to 0.32: At first, his gaze is steady as he recalls the general information about reading a tweet from a friend of Cathy Newman. But then when he starts to recall the precise words he read, exactly as they were, his eyes start to toggle. He looks like he is literally reading the tweet in his mind at that moment and I think that's what he is, in fact, doing: not generalizing but reading it exactly as its recorded image is presented to him by his mind's recollection.
He does the same thing from 2.17 to 2.23, where he is also recalling precise things that were previously said but this time he does it in a more scattered way than the first time. Makes sense because he is not recalling one tweet but many that he read, so he would be looking through more 'storage' places? In fact, as he does so, his head almost moves in a Pe way, following his eyes for that short period.
The same thing happens quickly at 3.03, (watch it from 3.00 to 3.04 for context). He says 3 million people watched and then recalls more precisely that it is actually more than that and as he does so, quickly does that Pe quick look upwards.
Contrastingly, from 1.03 to 1.12, he is also recalling things people write to him, but his eyes are steady and his head nods along in a Je way, and it seems to me he is speaking more generally about things people say to him in letters, deliberately paraphrasing and generalizing rather than recalling it precisely.
He also does not do that when he is trying to "remember" some more general/static information like finding the right word to use, which I guess is judgment too, not just perception.
I am wondering if that toggling is Ne reading Si datasets or if Se does the same for Ni types? We all recall precise information from time to time: do we all do the same thing Peterson does when we do, so that we can say it's standard/universal and not dependant on type? Or what do you guys think is going on there?
