NeFi Albert Einstein (prototypical MBTI "INTP")
There has been a strong trend among MBTI to CT transitioners that a given shade of NeFi always types as INTP. This thread is dedicated to that phenomenon.
What we see/know so far:
It appears that standard-development Ne-lead will most often type as an mbti "I" type, and your average real NeTi will type as an INTP. The original hypothesis was that NeTi-Ti (ll--) would type as INTP but it appears that the psychological attributes of Ne on their own are more than capable of providing an ego association with INxx. This is, no doubt, doubly aided by the fact that the MBTI often falsely defines "introversion" as "social introversion" and as we've discussed in many occasions:
Cognitive introversion =/= social introversion.
As the NeTi profile thus far confirms, the NeTi is "lost in their head" often, daydreaming, losing track of "the real world" and all of those phrases often affiliated with introversion. The disconnect that Ne feels from sensory reality is sufficient to cause these effects. But the cognitive extroversion is seen in how Ne is "always active" and "unable to shut off their thoughts". It is prone to restlessness and often gets diagnosed as ADHD. These markers are usually not highlighted in the MBTI as indicators of cognitive extroversion, but instead one measures whether or not the subject gets along with crowds, likes to go out/etc, to gauge the I-vs-E axis.
Moving swiftly along to NeFi, and away from NeTi...
As we've discussed in many places, it is a form of Te (not Ti) that is more stereotypical predisposed to science/technology/engineering/math (areas highlighted for the INTP type). Contrary to the MBTI, Te is not confined only to the logistical but has an overall understanding of (mechanical) "causal relationships" between objects, whether abstract or concrete. Ti on the other hand is more lacking in a comprehension of mechanical causal relationships, being more prone to discover and quantify the in-itself-ness of ideas and gravitates more to philosophy/epistemology.
Given this, it's no surprise that NeFi's would type as T types often (ENTP). And we've also discussed how the FiNe with Te ego is essentially the INTP stereotype; the nobel prize winning theoretical physicist/etc. But this appears to extend also to NeFi's (particularly males and particularly if unseelie) due to the aforementioned proclivity to associate oneself to introversion.

What do you guys think of this framing?
Lemmy know what you think / what your experiences are.
(I'd like to open up a discussion of this sort regarding common mistype patterns.)
