I love what you and @aqua are talking about.. yes I think Ti has a diagnostic proclivity, it points out all the errors, the misalignments in a system. But actually I think the word 'calibrate' might come closer to encompassing the whole manifestation (which seems like Ti+Fe) of what's being addressed here. Like with you, Lynn, Chomsky, and me with my work in natural medicine/psychoanalysis, we not only diagnose the problems we see, but we address them with a very finely tuned re-calibration approach; there is an impetus to fix the error, to bring the system back into alignment. I think the underlying motivation toward subject matter and building an approach is Fe and not Ti. In all of the examples we've seen, there is a technical dissection of the problem, and meticulous building of a solution, but the overall goal is to address a human dilemma - the question of personality/belonging, of optimum human health and quality of life, or of political alignment. Even with the Olsen twins, they're focus is fashion, which arguably has a lot to do with aesthetics, but it's quite related to Fe's impetus to build an image/character.
All that said, I really came here to challenge your assumption about [my] development! takes off glove and throws it to the ground
I think I actually do have Ne at a conscious level. But as Linus recently brought up on discord with his video addressing the question of function modulation, I don't always show that much Ne in my expression because it - like all the functions - engages when it is called upon by a situation. But I experience quite a lot of intuition, especially in the multidimensional quality of my thoughts. It's very true that I'm a psychoanalyst shade, I think, my worldview revolves around explaining things through a technical understanding of human psychology/the human experience. But in everything I always see a vast array of multiple perspectives/potential interpretations of reality. It's kind of like standing in a hall of mirrors, every concept exists as a superposition of interpretations. I like to balance all of these perspectives into a singular opinion if possible, but usually I end up selecting a few congruent concepts to articulate, while not excluding/becoming unaware of the rest. To me, this seems quite contrasted to the linear a+b=c type of thought processes that I've observed with Ti's operation, it seems like a strong integration of Ne. There's also my developed predictive/intuitive capabilities, and let's admit it!.. when I want to turn on the Ne silliness, I can turn it up preeeettty high
(need I remind you?..)
