In the films and when she was younger she really comes across as FiSe (or SeFi). It's curious, however, to see her development of Te when older. In the second film she appears TeNi. What do you guys think?
(I've seen this happen before and it seems to me another example of how polar types can so keenly mirror one another at different points in their life...) She's at least definitely Te/Fi + Ni/Se.
p.s. - We need better names for the "quadras", since the socionics terms and definitions are really ill fitting. Any suggestions?
For the idea the one you come up with an old post was awesome but was too complicated to remember and somewhat "mystic", and the risk is to being compared with people like pod'lair . I think we need a similar acronym more symplier where is possible to come what types indicates through reasoning. I don't know, maybe something we can exhume the word "temperaments" with a different meaning, for us it will be the name for "quadras", for the specific names i think the must simple thing we can come up with is (taking alpha for example) "FeTiNeSi". Is really unpleasant and obvius but we don't the classic names of the types created by socionics and mbti, so it mantain also a coerence with it, we can justify us sayng that it was inspired by the Apple's minimalism .
About Megan: she makes me think a little of a friend (undecided between TeNi or NiTe), i think a shy TeNi can look like her when is younger
She definitely has the functions you mentioned obviously. TeNi is most likely, appearing to be polar type is not uncommon when young for Je leads, especially if they lack the natural confidence in their speech(in case of Te)...it may not be easy to sure.
Interesting. I wonder if actors and actresses especially are able to use and move into their polar/subpolar functions while role-making. In these recent interviews she really comes out as a TeNi.

I am not sufficiently familiar with the types yet, but my first impression was that, even if her older self has a somehow stronger voice, do less of a snarl and more of a polar smile and seems very dismissive, she still is more calm and collected, slow/contemplative, and more so less offensive, seemly aggressive, particularly in the nodding and eye fixing department, that TeNi would be in my opinion. Also, her whole face and eyes still are affected when she laugh, emotes, even if the laugh itself is more Te-lead-like. I would say well rounded FiSe.
By the way, quadras names... it is difficult to find something technical that would not be misleading (in an artisan, guardian, etc way, like Keirsey)... metaphors (colors, elements...) could be misleading too... greek alphabetical letter was a nice choice by the Socionics comrads, why did they thought of it first ?

I too see Fi over Te (dido to ayoungspirit). Even though her Te can come off strong at times, it seems to subside when she doesn't feel she needs to use it as much. I could be wrong, but it seems that those who have Fi over Te push their Te forward when they need to feel extroverted, but recedes back into Fi like cozying up into a comfy old chair, whereas Te leads aren't receding, but are casually advancing, since they are more aware of the outer world.
As for Megan Follows, aside from flashes of genuine in her original casting reel, the only thing I see is a woman being insincere (presenting a character that is supposed to be her 'image') for PR interviews. She doesn't want to be there. It's part of her job that annoys her.
Disclaimer: Everything I say here is my OPINION. Please keep that in mind.

The Doctor : the "core" idea is intriguing to me, I sometimes thought of it regarding people with personalities seemingly more different from me than others, and with also less friendly affinities between us and less efficient communication, but with something of a deep hidden and unspoken/unspeakable similarity and understanding.

You'll find this to be more and more the case as personalities age and mature. The back end functions in shared cores/quadras level out, and end up being very similar. The bulk of my best friends and romantic relationships have been people in my own core/quadra, with a few exceptions being in cores/quadras that share one of my pairs of functions. From what I can discern, this is true of most people, regardless of what core/quadra they are a part of.
Also, might I suggest that if the 'Cores' idea is used that we number the Cores based on population instead? It always bothered me that there was no apparent reason for the order Socionics chose.
This would amend my suggestion to the following...

This would be a great idea, if we were to have some statistics regarding CT and visual reading. Where does these come from ?

I think we should keep the order of quadras just because that's what we're used to. I like to keep new memorization to a minimum lol. But that might be a good idea with "cores".
That's interesting, and I like the idea of Cores. However, we don't have any CT based estimations for the percentages of core types in population. Even MBTI numbers are mostly North American. Therefore, I would base the numbering on something else.

Ironically, my parents are of opposite quadra/cores (dad TeNi, mom SiFe or FeSi). They met each other during adolescence and stayed together for approx. 30 years. They loved each other but realized progressively that they had very few in common personality wise, and while it's manageable when people love each other, it can become unbearable when love is gone, so they ended up divorcing. Interestingly, me and my brother are each of different "cores" too, hence in our family, there was not much of a community feeling at all, we were pretty much "individualists", like very different characters from a book with their own idiosyncrasies Maybe that's why I developped such a solitary ("nobody understands meee") temperament and my brother too I think feels quite misunderstood.
