I see: Se lock on (heavy) i don't think this is correlated with the fact that he's watching at the camera, i personally don't tend to fixate my stare on it for long like he does. Fi cheeks tension. Te asymmetric mouth (quite evident at 4:00) Te monotonous speech, quite slow, but almost 0 interruptions, and personally quite cold. I don't know if this is really reliable, but he puts always his right thumb over the left, his right hand over the left, that should indicate J lead, but can also indicate a great use of his J functions (the society in general puts you in the condition to do so). He reminds me a bit Maria Konninova (NiTe) obviously more manly (even if he conserve the "femme fatale" attitude of gammas), but seems also more confident:

In the second video his stare is glued on the camera! Almost scary.
As we know that DN identifies with INTJ, it's hard not to see it. His SeNi eyes and Te speech (unbelievable flow) makes gamma the only option. Fi is not very prominent, and he doesn't look Pe- or Je-lead, so NiTe is the only one left. I must admit that he seems more "extroverted" and easy-going than I've imagined NiTe's to look like, especially as his constant flow of speech doesn't allow any Ni-zone outs to come forth (maybe they also happen on the go).
I would never have guessed NiTe on first impression (not considering CT signals), but he does have a similar demeanor as Rainn Wilson (in the SiTe Larin thread), but with what looks like Se/Ni eyes. So, I can sort of twist my brain around it...
I have a feeling that I need a lot more confirmed examples of each type before I can feel more confident in recognizing them.

Ah, thank you Heron. I noticed that Mark Zuckerberg was on the Celebrity List in the Database along with quite a few other NiTe's. I might have to make myself a playlist for each type so I have an easier access to the reference - assuming I can figure out how to do it. I am not too familiar with that aspect of YouTube. (The only reason why I have an account is because I wanted to post my videos here).
Most NiTe's do this thing where they sound like they're asking a question when they're making a statement. I think they're trying to discern whether or not their listener is following. It's one of the most distinct tells they have. Not all of them do it, but if someone does, it's an NiTe litmus.

@the Doctor, I will definitely look for that tendency as I am making my NiTe list.
Not all of them do it, but of the people who do, I've only ever seen NiTe's do it. I wouldn't consider it a requirement by any means, just another indicator if it is there.
Something else to look for as an indicator (not a requirement) in Ni users is a Strabismus effect (eyes being slightly out of alignment with each other). Even if the eyes are aligned, they may seem to have different energy in each. Note the second Dario video. You can see the effect rather clearly. I've seen this effect in NiFe, FeNi, and TeNi subjects, but it tends to be the most obvious in NiTe subjects when it occurs.

It was Dario Nardi's speech that was a big factor in my confusion. I have been going by the idea that NeTi's would have a more monotone speech pattern. So, noticing differences and variations within that, would be good for me to do.
I agree that Dario Nardi is a Pi-lead. But based on the videos I would say that Ti/Fe and Si/Ne are the most likely functions for him. So that would actually make him a SiFe and not a NiTe (INTJ) as he claims. At least that is what the evidence seems to suggest. His overall demeanor also fits very nicely with other examples of SiFe I have seen. I hope Iβm not missing something here.

Aside from the ability to verify his type via neuroscan? I think the only thing you missed are each of his cognitive function sets. No biggie. You did that with me as well. ;-)

TheLogicFan: My very first impression of Nardi, before knowing his self-acclaimed type, was SiFe! Now that I looked carefully, especially his eye movements seem more SeNi to me. TeFi comes from the flow of speech. Not much Fi, though, to my eye.
The Doctor: The eye thing is interesting. My eyes are different in color, which makes them naturally asymmetrical, but I've noticed my eyes in general have different "vibes". My right eyebrow also moves differently from the left one, which emphasizes the asymmetry.

Yup. Ni user.

Between this ^ and your seeming intensity, I am convinced is why people are mistyping you as a Te lead.
Te leads are often intense, but not always. There are also Te auxiliaries, and even Fi leads that are just as intense. SeFi's often have the same intensity. It is more of a Gamma trait than anything. It is just more common in TeNi's. Yet another over clarified misinterpretation of signals on the parts of people who read it that way.
However, in your case, I think you have reason to be hyper vigilant, making you appear to be using your extroverted functions more than a typical NiTe. You're relying on your Se and Te to protect you.

The Doctor: Thanks for sharing. That's intriguing for sure and resonates at some level, as I can see myself as either introverted TeNi or reactive NiTe, both with a bunch of Fi energy. But I base that more on MBTI descriptions than CT, so caution is needed. I know that within CT and by function descriptions elsewhere, I most likely have gamma functions. They are plain obvious, and everyone agrees. For the hierarchy I want an EEG to see whether I have fp1 or fp2 as dominant. Introspection doesn't help me with that one.
Nardi is a surprising example for NiTe, if that's where he ends up here, too. I'd like to see more of them, a lot more (I'm in line with anagrams). Most of the NiTe females I've seen have more static eyes than I. They look like they were glued on their face. I have more movement, especially in social situations and if I'm nervous (often), when I exude TeFi (+Se, you're right).
