I really want to distinguish what lead a person has (Pe, Pi, Fe, Fi). That might be the most basic thing to know, but I have trouble with it. Like viscous body swaying (Pi) vs. loose body swaying (Pe) and even telling whether someone is face or eye-centric.
I think gifs are a good way to really isolate that signal and make it easier for people like me to see exactly how the signals look like.
I mean, I watch the CT videos a lot too, but I think that gifs would have the potential to make some cues simpler.
"I will never assert that an individual must be the type I think they are. I am human, I still have subjectivity. I also think it's possible that an individual can be aware if they have been mistyped. Therefore, when it comes down to it, the ultimate decision to accept/reject a typing should come from that person themself. For better or worse, it is ultimately up to them...or some kind of perfect brain scan. haha"

I am just curious, as far as CT theory goes, how are your friend's and family reactions to it? I tend to get excited by each refinement that I learn about personality, but no one else shares my enthusiasm. They get annoyed that I keep learning new things that discredit the older things I told them. I really should keep my mouth shut from now on I guess and just stick to forums...
Hi alasq25, I tried to talk about it around me, theΓ½Β΄re vaguely interested (but itΒ΄s more out of politeness I suspect). ItΒ΄s even more difficult to me to explain to them for me because I do it in French so some well-explained concepts in English are lost in translation... Their lack of interest probably comes from a lack of concrete examples and my clumsy wording in French They basically think I should something more productive and not waste my time in forums...
I just watched Frozen last night! I loved it! I really liked the main characters a lot. I was trying to see NeFi in Anna's character and it did seem to fit, with her bubbling energy. But I don't really know what she could be typed as being a fictional character, so she's not able to utilize CT. haha
It was a more serious story than I would have thought and it had some great themes about self-acceptance, true love, and sacrifice. I think I could relate to both Elsa and Anna...so that was interesting to find out.
Anyways, to all of you on this forum, I highly recommend Frozen!

I am often surprised at how characters in TV shows and movies often times seem like plausible representations of the actual CType of the actor. I was recently watching this movie about einstein and I couldn't help but think through the whole thing that the actor himself seemed NeFi just like einstein . Would be interesting if there was a tendancy that way.
Very interesting, I wish to see that movie chaoticbrain. Sigh...einstein as an NeFi was one of the reasons they disliked CT on personalitycafe. They were like "britney spears and einstein are both NeFi?" and laughed. Sooo sad.

It is interesting that types like NeFi are often the ones prone to scientific genius and so on, I've actually talked to certain people on persoanlity cafe about that too.

Anna is definitely either a NeFi or a SeFi. SeFi seems slightly more likely based on the story though.
Elsa is either a TiNe or a TiSe. All that "cold" logic and shutting down of emotions is such an obvious stereotype. Haha.
Kristen Bell (who play Anna) is funnily enough either a TiSe or SeTi. I was confused about who played who at first because of this. I couldn't imagine they would cast her as a PeFi. But they did.
Idina Menzel (who play Elsa) seems to be a TeNi. I haven't had much time look into her, but she is definitely a Fi user.

I was very intrigued that you said Kristen looked like a TiSe or SeTi. I need to watch her vids on this thread again, for the possibilty that she is my type. A lot of the people here said she was NeFi because I think we did see like an Ne toggle somewhere and a snarling smile...but I will take another look. Kristen said she requested that a lot of her own self and mannerisms be incorporated to Anna, so I hope to know what is her true type.
Idina Menzel, I started a thread on her too somewhere. Someone mentioned PeFi for her. She seemed to move her eyes quite a bit, is all I can recall.

Whoa. I think I see Se/Ni eyes in Kristen Bell. Especially the Ni side drifts then Se lock ons. She has such naive looking eyes though, relaxed and always shiny (lol), but the movements of her eyes seems like Se and Ni to me...
And I see Fe and Ti now too. Her smile neutralizes fast and I don't see Fi cheek tension as she speaks. And in the first vid I posted, I wonder if she has Ti hands since her wrists are flexible and soft. And there does seem to be Ti pauses when she speaks.
She seems like a Beta now to me. Could she be FeNi or NiFe somehow though? I have never read anyone on my own who were these types before so I don't know really how to distinguish them yet.
But if Kristen is not that, then SeTi or TiSe is also my next choice.I need to distinguish if she is P lead or J lead...

gah...is she eye-centric or face-centric? It is hard for me to tell.
She can have a still posture like I expect from J-leads, but her eyes seem to be quite open when she smiles sometimes (even a really big smile. especially in the video of her talking about being a vegetarian)...like her eyes are the "prevailing" aspect of her face like a P-lead. Sometimes I think I see her eyes leading her face. But other times her eyes dart around and her head is still.

Yeah, i think i see the eye-centric signal more where her eyes do seem to lead her face in her young video. Honestly, I thought she might be an SeTi when I made this thread. It was just a strange feeling. So I am surprised that you see that in her too.
