Hi
I'm in-and-out lately. Busy with real life but I'm dropping in for a bit.
Several questions have been posed about some youtubers, which I haven't gotten around to answering fully... <,<
Basically, the question is: Who from the typology youtube community are correctly typed, and why?
DJArendee: SeTi (heavy Ti)
!
He has a correct and real-life understanding of the types. Meaning his channel doesn't rely on profile descriptions but on tactile (Se-Ni) information from his world. He's an example of what an intelligent SeTi is like, which, I agree with what he says, is among the most underestimated of types. SeTi's are essentially inverted NiFe. They will share a lot of qualities with NiFe, but will have less of a mystical edge to things, and more of a factual edge, but equally a keen perceptive insight (Se-Ni primary oscillation). This is what makes this type a very good observer and analyst of people, which in examples like DJArendee, gets channeled into the realm of typology.
Jbrannidom: NiTe (sassy Fi)
She, very much like DJArendee, has a tactile comprehension of the types, though not perfect. It's a bit less complete than DJArendee. She also has a personal conviction from Fi which she channels outward through Te in a sassy manner. She's an example of a Te user who can have social concern, but she has it via Fi and it manifests differently from Fe. Whereas Fe would want to create some form of social wave/movement to combat a false stereotype, she is more of a vocal Te critic. The way she channels Fi frustration out with Te is very classic, and she's a good example of that at work (as is my SeFi friend) compared to Fe.
SimulatedWorlds: SeTi / NiTe
!
Sim is definitely a fluid mind (P-lead), but also very streamlined/linear [Ni] and quick to conclude [Te?]. His eyes, as well as the rhythm of his thought process follow a converging direction. It's not like Ne, as he believes of himself. If you notice his psyche doesn't slow down, and continues to execute deductions in a very snippy/monotone manner, dismissively and from a framework of practical/impractical. I believe this is Te. He doesn't judge an idea based on it's abstract internal consistency (Ti) but it's logistical or objective application/reality. He also has the lower-Fi snarl, and a very strong Se momentum. His self-confidence comes from that Ni-Se collection of tactile data and is executed efficiently via Te, and a lot of his supposed expertise in typology comes from this self-surety. However, I'm not 100% on this, as the video quality is poor and limited. But the only other thing he could be, I think, is an SeTi with heavy Ti much like DJArendee. Definitely perception-lead with Ni/Se as primary oscillation, and T>F (native dispassion).
Danielle Durland: SiTe alt: NiTe
Danielle has a very limited understanding of psychology, imo, which doesn't go as far as DJArendee or Jbradnidom. Like Sim her self-surety gives the presentation of expertise. She is also using an extreme amount of 'social persona'. Her videos are very stages/scripted and she tries very hard to appear warm and friendly and professional. However, they still appear unnatural as she tries to emulate Fe warmth using Te. Her body retains the hard shell of Te at the forefront, however she is steered by he eyes. Additionally she does have the lower-Fi snarl and is very similar to Katie Couric from the SiTe video. Her eyes, however, have the confused/'shocked' look of Si>Ne and her eyebrows move in a peculiar fashion. It is possible that she's NiTe after all, but I find it quite improbable as her thought process itself also reflects a familiarity with concepts and a propagation of prior data - rather than the continual synthesizing of reality in realtime.
DoctorJuice1: FiNe
DoctorJuice is a very classic FiNe. In this video he is attempting to exert strong articulation. I chose this video because it demonstrates how he appears when focusing on being communicative/interactive and how it still differs from Fe. His voice remains monotone, and avalanches through his speech without really swelling at any point. His hands are extremely stiff at the wrists, board-like, but still carry some delicacy (Ji). His face continually makes asymmetrical smiles and they rise up and affect the entire face. His Ne eyes, rigid Ji posture, natively receding energy and a few other signals are seen clearer in his non-presentation videos (like this one: watch?v=5un9I7gIJ5Y ). He's a cool guy, imo, but is different from TiNe.
Mike NFGeeks: NiFe
Mike is a shepherd in the Fe sense. He's a classic Fe user. The primary way he maintains the social environment of the NFGeeks community is via his Fe. The ritual that begins each of his videos is also an attribute of that social cohesion (Fe is a culture-building process). His theoretical understanding is largely MBTI-based, not Jung-based. (So it's really unfair to say he considers himself NeFi, but rather extroverted, intuitive, feeling, procrastinator.) Nonetheless his Fe is apparent, though his eyes are a bit tricky to see with the camera quality but they carry that hypnotic/cunning/charming quality to them. He's a friendly and approachable Fe user.
Auburn: TiNe (heavy Fe)
I thought you guys might enjoy this vid, lol. ^^; This was me three years ago. >.>... debating with some forum members. In here I show a lot of Ti, and a lot of negative-Fe (or at least 'pushy' Fe). Ti leads aren't necessarily socially adept, and they can be very awkward too, but it generally comes out as unrefined Fe. I show very pronounced start-stops in this video, a very "glitchy" articulation due to that lack experience with my own Fe. Gosh I still remember the first time I recorded myself on camera and was so utterly repulsed by my awkwardness.
