Please help me find my type

Thanks.    I'm happy to be back.  And yes!  Family makes great guinea pigs and can have some surprising results.  My sister, who I would have sworn was Fe (very socially aware, at an almost unconscious level), is actually very obviously Fi/Te.  You should definitely let us know what similar oddities you uncover.

And yes, one of the nice things about this place is that there's really no elitism and no "best" type.  I think it helps that no one type is billed as super special or rare, but that we all have things to learn from each other.  I think that's one of the biggest problems with the MBTI community is that there are "better" or at least rarer types and there's really no way to prove anyone is or isn't what they say they are.  I think we've got a big step-up there, but people on here tend to be a bit more casual in general.  Interested and certainly eager to learn, but not obsessive as some MBTI people can be (I think as you said, it's an ego thing).
