Gabby Douglas and presentation of "Work-in-progress"

As we are getting close to wrapping up, it is time to establish the framework of the article.

Since everyone has acknowledge the indefiniteness of the eyes, it is safe to assume that it should be the main argument. This would set the overall format toward a basic assessment. Given the lack of analysis on the type at this moment, and a cognitive development which we refer to as "standard", such an introduction would presumably not be misplaced.

Still, even if it is somewhat predictable, personal expression should not be overlooked. In this respect, I propose to follow through by briefly evoking some of the following points, in respect and fairness to the individual's young age.

- First, the impact of cognitive framing on the field of professional gymnastics, from the aptitude of Se, to the necessity of developing coordination, in a physical and organizational sense. A natural conclusion from her testimony is that her success is derived from a complete approach, which addresses relative strengths and weaknesses.

- Furthermore, it appears that such an orientation is not entirely emerging from the individual, but is also quite influenced by her personal circle, including her mother, who manifests in Barbara Walters' interview as an individual with prevalent Je. According to another interview from the same year, she was the one to encourage her to focus when Gabby Douglas was tempted to quit. While anecdotal, this suggests a potentially significant relationship dynamic, something we are yet to approach. Incidentally, this very aspect of her life has become the premise of a reality TV show aired recently, Douglas Family Gold.

- Otherwise, it should be noted that her status not only as an all-around Olympic champion, but the first african-american woman to do so, has prompted her to invest on the social scene, and thus to develop a more "lively" disposition. It shows up more clearly when contrasting older interviews (2012) with the more recent one (2016, another exemple), and is perhaps an interesting opportunity to study social conditioning in and out of the Fe process. 

On the subject of Mandy Moore, a quick look at one of the admittedly rare high definition interview would indicate that, as inferred by faeriel77 , her cognitive type is indeed FeSi. 

Using such impressionistic terms as "soft", "sharp" and "bright" as shorthand for technicalities such as distance focus or fixation length, can put one at risk of misreading the corresponding signal, especially when judging from memory. In the current case, the comparatively "bright" eyes Of Mandy Moore are the result of the Ne process, which induces a greater motility in the organ compared with Se. A more adequate shorthand for it could perhaps be "naïve". Moreover, it is mostly accompanied by a distinct scowl with slanting outer edge, attributable to Si.



In fact, the prevalence of Si is such that you can see the brow contracting all along the interview, independently of the emotional charge of the speech. We like to call this phenomenon "Si dancing brow", and it differ noticeably from the relatively static brow of Gabby Douglas.


Similarly, the zygomatic muscles, or simply the cheeks, are a lot more toned and varied in activity, especially in regard to the oldest interview of the gymnast. As a result, they convey a lot more warmth and expressiveness toward the interlocutor. Coupled again with the brow, and a more articulate, on-beat delivery, this signals a prevalent Fe.



Interestingly enough, Mandy Moore is describing her voice role as Rapunzel in Tangled, and Disney has since long been famous for attributing an aesthetic and sometimes a thematic close to Ne, notably for their female protagonists (for example with the character of Ariel). 

Although, it would be hasty to conclude that the two women have nothing in common, as they not only cultivate, but share similar traits in their social persona. Among others, they both present themselves as enthusiastic and agreeable. For what it is worth, Gabby Douglas has also collaborated with Disney on one of their cable channels. 

Since it has already proven challenging to identify one type, I think it would be too plentiful to include this segment in the article, but it will certainly be an interesting addition for more avid readers, in the spirit of work-in-progress. Thank you for suggesting it !
