Cognitive Type List :: (link here)
So finally I got a list together for ye guys!
A little about this list - if a read has something in the "alt. type" field it doesn't mean that that's a secondary type. It means that if they were to somehow be another type instead, that's what they'd be. There's only so off a typing can be and right off the bat there are many types that are just not possible; while it may be a hard call between two (like TiNe or NeTi). Generally I can quickly narrow a type down to two for most, but narrowing to one for absolute certain always takes more time or footage than is available.
Readers: Presently the list contains only reads from Alerith & I but should anyone aside from us learn VR, and find VR to be legitimate, you're definitely welcome to add to this list. After all, the whole point of making all this public and putting all the effort into making it accessible/comprehensible is to give others the ability to do this too. The goal is to have more people pick up on this ability and have a strong consensus among practitioners. I hope that someday we'll have a dozen or so people's names next to each read, confirming their agreeing with it. If a reader disagrees with another reader's read, they can make another column with the same celeb's name but different type. They can then debate it formally via forum.
If you give these methods a try you'll see these patterns. I guarantee it. Even if you pick just one pair of cues, try to look for it in real-life people you know and see if it holds true. Don't just take these celebrity reads as a given, build a real comprehension of each type from personal experience among them. Use this list as a guide to identify the ones in your actual life. Once you properly identify even one or two people in your life you'll have a plethora of knowledge at your disposal from them, about all others who have their type or even just their functions. I'm really excited to see more people trying this; more readers needed!
