Milton Erickson is the father of the ericksonian hypnosis :
Milton Hyland Erickson (5 December 1901 β 25 March 1980) was an American psychiatrist specializing in medical hypnosis and family therapy. (...) He is noted for his approach to the unconscious mind as creative and solution-generating. He is also noted for influencing brief therapy, strategic family therapy, family systems therapy, solution focused brief therapy, and neuro-linguistic programming.
I wonder about his type. Psychologically, he sounds NiFe, but I'm not sure CT would reach the same conclusions. I see a beta, that's for sure. The problem is that it's hard to find proper footage of him, the quality is often bad, or he is too old. For now we'll go with a few pictures, and I'll try to find a video which can be relevant for VR purpose.
With regards to his practice of hypnosis, I doubt it, but as far as CT VR is concerned, we can still discuss it ^^ Here is a video, but I think his age blurs the signals significantly:
He appears at 7:20, but the introduction is worth watching because it's revealing about the way he used to practice hypnosis, and I think that can be useful in order to type him.

I deleted my post before you had quoted as I thought I would take a break telling apart J functions. But really there's nothing as far as CT is concerned that his work in hypnosis would imply Te is unlikely.
