I only realize now I was the only user of Fi and Te on the call all the way. There were some moments I got a bit lost in the heavy Ti of everyone (that is so different from the way I process T things through Te) but in a good way!!
I loved to see how each person answers the same question in a completely different way - it is fascinating.

Phew! That was crazy. Super long and thorough. We touched on so so so so many things. If I can recall the main ones...
- Powerpoint Presentation (Learning to Type) - Morsecode's type = NeFi - Heron's type = TiNe (with heavy Ne) - ChainedDivinity = NeTi (strong momentum) - Faeruss = Ni-Ti heavy type (NiFe or possibly TiSe) - Forming type profiles/descriptions & political correctness - McGheezie's Si relative: What causes underdevelopment, "gripping" and growth. - Champaigne_Dad = NeTi - Using video games to enhance calculation/deduction/judgment (i feel i'm missing more)
Group Dynamics Yeah, like morsecode said, there was quite a noticeable Ti bent this time around. There was tons of semantic nitpicking and technical elaboration. Loads of glitchy articulation, hehe.
There were also a few moments, as Alerith pointed out, where all the Ne users in the chat burst out laughing at immature things while the Ni users (possibly all 3 are NiFe) were totally unphased and were probably facepalming on the inside... Really showed a funny contrast. We could benefit from a bit more 'solidity'.
There was also a lot of Ne "idea surfing" and tangents. I think that added to the long video time. I do think it'd be good for future chats for us to set a max time limit on them though, maybe about 1:30 hours? That'd be most respectable for everyone, I think.
p.s. There's a video coming soon of the vidchat [after edits] for others to see. Heron - thanks for the vid!
Yes, quite interesting to have so many Ti and Ne folks in one place - not sure I've ever personally experienced that before Also, the brief presentation from Auburn was very compelling and brought up a really great point about where the field of psychology is at, especially in comparison to astronomy and where the latter started out and how far it has come - I really appreciated this illumination.
Also, I have to mention that the reason I didn't burst out laughing at Heron's story when several others did, was that I simply didn't catch what he had said at first, but later did. It's very curious to me that you believe I may be NiFe because I just do not identify with that type or even Ni/Se at all. Re-reading through the descriptions of all the perception functions and threads, getting feedback from my wife and paying extra attention to my perception functions lately has really yielded a pretty confident identification with Ne/Si. Can you share what it is about me that points to NiFe during these vidchats? If I may be so bold, perhaps we could spend just a few minutes in the next vidchat assessing my functions and CT? --thanks

Auburn there was also the question I made about the possibility of having 8 functions instead of 4, and how at the present stage it is difficult to establish. And also the correlations between socionics and CT, and the possible blindspots and inherent problematics of the socionics model.
Hi there, I'd love to join next one, maybe we can chat about dealing with emotions and the types. I have for example a few friends with anger issues, SiTe and SiFe, ( definitely with alcohol involved lol ).
An other idea is how we learn/teach differently, I've been interested in that for a while and love for example the book Mastery.
