I just watched the movie called "Causalities of War".
And this is exactly what is the result of intellectual laziness. People who don't know who they are. And people who are afraid to be themselves. This world is a disgusting place.
Maybe the way they see it is that people like you don't live in the moment and are inferior because of that. Many people just tend to value what they do and look down upon what they don't.

This is always something that made me very sad about the world. There are so many people who forfeit their true selves to become something they see as more acceptable to society. Many others are disinterested in self actualization or understanding where others are coming from.
I hope someday something like Cognitive Type will be taught in schools. If it were just a given that we learned of our psychological type along with the tests done for learning style and hearing/vision in most schools, it would help people so much in their development. If people thought about others in terms of their thought processes and not in comparison to social norms, there would be a lot more freedom of the self within society.

Precisely. They look down on things that they don't do.
Here's the interesting part. Doing things in a moment is far more complex thing that people understand. Taking things for granted is not as simple as it may seem. For example, how do you know that the person in front of you values most things that you do? How can two people agree on so many things about life that they feel comfortable to be around each other? It's not easy. And definitely not a coincidence. People value moment not because they can, but because they are given in that way. They do not come to this "frame of mind" by effort. Or work. Or exploration. It is something that is given to them by society. They do not question it. They accept it as it is. And most of the time, their "ignorance" of that fact often becomes their undoing.
I am not that type of person. I am not in the current society. And I am not in the society I came from. I do not take things for granted as much as other people do. I question them. I do not know why am I doing that questioning part. Maybe it is due to some deficiency in my personality. But I feel the need to know things first before I can be comfortable around them. For example, imagine that I see a car for the first time in my life. Before I jump on it to drive it, I have this need to learn more about it first. Once I learn more about it, I reach to further points that most people didn't come so far before. That is not consistent with living in the moment. I suppose I would feel more at ease if I was living among the people whom I simply take as intellectually lazy rather than some unknown. But that still wouldn't change what I have to do.

Biological androids. That's what are they called.
I call them walking dead. Or zombies. Their time has no meaning. Each passing moment makes them closer to the death. And by the time of death, they will not travel an inch from today. They would die as the same person as they are now. Then naturally a question arises. What was the purpose of spending so much time until death while ending up with nothing else than what they already have today? What was it? What is this whole hassle with time and patience then? Why not they just kill themselves if their time is so meaningless? Wouldn't they do themselves a favor?

It seems like the lazy way out, yes. In reality though, does one ever truly have anything? Isn't life a transient thing? Change is one of the constants of this universe that makes it exist as it does, everyone changes whether they direct that change or not. One-dimensional people aren't interesting to me personally, but they do make up the majority and they are an example of one modus operandi humans are capable of.
I've always thought the purpose of life is to learn and grow. But I know now that this is no more true than the idea that the purpose of life is to have fun or to care for others. It really is subjective, there isn't a right answer. Seeing it from this objective point of view, people who surrender their psyche to the social norm aren't doing anything wrong. It is only when the nature of the human psyche is considered, how denying or suppressing the self leads to mental imbalance, that we see a problem. Also, when things are standardized, we lose complexity and what may have been advantageous contributions to the knowledge of the human race.
I suppose my point is, there isn't really a purpose to life, so as distasteful as it seems to us that some people are "biological androids" there isn't anything right or wrong about it.
