It is such an pertinent observation that, up until now, it did not occur to me to gather up a thread about the topic -- but I find it fascinating and necessary to give condensation to this and other phenomenon related to macro-level human structures, and to also learn what it means about all of us. I welcome any thoughts on the matter...
As further confirmation of not only the existence of type, but the critical role it plays in shaping every part of our human experience, we observe that our entire society is built, in large part, as a self-similar magnifications of those elements innate to humanity at the individual level.
Politics and congress (the places where we collectively recieve our leadership and worldview-formations), are absolutely flooded with both the types and the signals of Je/Pi. Even a quick glance immediately reveals the correlation:
Stern faces, narrowed brows, tensed mouth areas --- most of us intuitively understand what these qualities mean even without any vultology training. But knowing vultology we can easily take guesses at the above faces, and find an incredible percentage of JePi and PiJe individuals. We can see the face of a heavy Je/Pi type from a mile away and know many things about their character instinctively.
Yet, these very obvious facts require specific mention, as they are still alarmingly absent in our literature. Generally CT has been pursued primarily as a tool for self-exploration, but what if it's applied to widescale societal analysis? What other patterns may yet be lurking, and what can they tell us about humanity?
Je Mass Representation & Implications
Politics, economy, world leadership positions and law/justice are filled with Je faces and Pi brows. In each of us (whether we're an Ne-lead or some other type), our Je and Pi serve our logistical purposes, but as a sort of social alchemy arrangement... our human nature compels us to concentrate our collective Je into niche groups which amplify this function's capacity.
Essentially, the field of politics/economics is a bubble or biosphere dominated and built by the Je function; it is a creation of it (and *is* it). Here the name of the game is Je, and the game is played at a much higher level.
What does it mean for me if I'm a Je type?
I think for those who are Je types, despite the differences that may be felt between oneself and this domain (especially forum goers who are a bit divorced from this desire), it is still -- in many ways -- the challenge and aspiration of your psyche. Here is the mountain that stares directly at you, and where those before you have entered the boxing ring.
The implied goal would be achieving success by proving your views more applicable, rational and ethical than those currently existing -- but also finding ways to outdo others in planning and anticipating underhanded moves. It is not only a game of having the right views, but of following them through to the end.
I should add that in practice, many Je types will naturally not be directly involved with government positions (and I think this is healthy too) but may add their contribution through being politically active or vocal -- or at least up to date with social issues. In doing even this, they contribute to the Je economy of our human race.
Je & Ji counterbalance
Corruption of politics and economics, when it happens, is a saddening symptom of our collective Je failing to give us a proper structure for managing our daily lives. If it cannot unclog itself, then we must rely on a collective Ji effort to counterbalance it; an idealistic movement based on a return to pure values (Ji), thinking less about the feasibility of those values within any established gamefield, and pressuring instead Je to find room to make those ideals feasible by sheer prioritization.
But because Ji is a reactive process, often such pure principles receive far less traction and remain in the back seat until Je finds a place for them to fit, or enough system failure develops in Je's trajectory that a path-correction becomes imperative. We see this exemplified in:
...which more often begin in the culture's Ji, and then that convinces the culture's Je of the reasoning; pushing it into fruition through Pi & Je policy.
