I think I noticed something in the difference between those two types that first appear conter-intuitive. Like Erifrail said, it's possible MBTI has it backwards.
To illustrate the contrast between the two, here videos of what Erifrail has typed as TiNe and FiNe :
This is TiNe with well developed Fe. They have that Fe graceful "mature" considerate articulation and at the same time they have a "disincarnated" gangly, technical/philosophical presence. They look individual but more in a "my brain is alone" rather than a "I'm soooo special", I"m maybe overeading but do you see it too ?
Here two FiNe's with well-developped Te (the first one at least, not sure about the second):
Again, it's probably me overinterpreting things... They look painfully individual to me, there is that "alone in this world" vibe to them, yet with that underneath Te waiting to bulldoze you (if they're in the mood). Fi/Te, definitely not a graceful combination...

Ah yes, when I said "graceful combination" I was ironical, kidding. I'm not saying there are better combination than others. Just the combo Fi/Te itself may appear less "graceful" because of the nature of Te vs Fe. Hard to describe psychological processes without being a tad subjective. We can't use numbers here :/ We're stuck with adjectives loaded with subjective interpretations and experiences.
I think I understand what you're describing. It can be hard to find the right adjectives especially some that don't jive wrong with others. Erifrail and I wondered whether to use words like "naive" (for Ne) and "dismissive" (for Te), etc, but that's really as honest as we could describe things and mean no ill will because of it, which we hope people understand.
As to your observation itself, I think you're generally right! Great observation too! Yes, Fe in TiNe comes off as more relatable/warm/cooperative, while FiNe's Fi comes off as more private (inaccessible, because it's an emotional Ji process) and thus often more 'cold' than TiNe and more independent. We do think MBTI descriptions of those two types have some flipped elements.
Do feel free to voice your weird questions! ^.^

"Naive" is a good word to describe the eyes of the people you've typed as Ne/Si. There's a kind of softness and innocence to their gaze that isn't adequately captured by any other word I can think of.
I really do like that look of softness, it's quite beautiful.
Oh, I had to write a few things here! Me (TiNe) and my brother (FiNe), there is an episode that resume every differences between me and him:The first time i found the test on internet, some months ago, maybe 6 or 7 i don't remember, i was pretty excited, i thought: "finally i've found something that explains the differences between different people!" (too bad that this first encounter was with MBTI )... so, the first thing i did was explain the theory to some people i know, also my brother. At first he seemed really interested, but when i said "with something like this you can know why and what something works with one person and why doesn't with another", then my brother said "mmh... it can be really dangerous, think about it: this could be a system to controll the weaknesses of the people!". And this happens everytime i have a discussion with him. When i make a comment about something, maybe i point out an incoherent demeanour of one person because i'm angry (or just for the sake to do it ), he always reply with "you can't say this, you just don't know what was going on in his mind in that particular moment", he is more concentrated on the internal experience of the other people, when he make a judgment. He is in university in the Philosophy course, and he thinks with this he can explain everything in the world (his own words .__. ). Another thing: we like to share our ideas, we make looong discussions about personal ideas, novels, and we have a similar humor.

Are you talking about me? XD I abuse that contra-argument.
