Welcome to the forum!
In this thread I'll be outlining how the reading process works.
|| How visual reading works
Visual reading is an acquired skill, like reading lips, in which the way a person utilizes their psyche is discerned via the (un)conscious signals they elicit, most visible through muscle contractions of the face, as well as body language and tone of articulation. More resources, guides and explanations pertaining to the methodology used can be found here: cognitivetype.com/database .
|| Visual Readers
As with any art form, there are some who are more learned and practiced than others. And although all members are welcome to try their hand at visual reading, members with the class "Visual Reader" below their name are volunteers who are well learned in this method and participate in in-depth analysis of the individuals posted in this board to give a collaborative opinion. No single reader is without fault, as visually reading cognition can at times be challenging. For this reason the visual readers discuss among themselves to refine their analysis and arrive at a consensus together, and present a more solid reading with explanations for their deduction. The visual read may appear something like this:
CONSENSUS

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer adipiscing elit. Nam cursus. Morbi ut mi. Nullam enim leo, egestas id, condimentum at, laoreet mattis, massa. Sed eleifend nonummy diam. Praesent mauris ante, elementum et, bibendum at, posuere sit amet, nibh. Duis tincidunt lectus quis dui viverra vestibulum. Suspendisse vulputate aliquam dui. Nulla elementum dui ut augue. Aliquam vehicula mi at mauris. Maecenas placerat, nisl at consequat rhoncus, sem nunc gravida justo, quis eleifend arcu velit quis lacus. Morbi magna magna, tincidunt a, mattis non, imperdiet vitae, tellus. Sed odio est, auctor ac, sollicitudin in, consequat vitae, orci. Fusce id felis. Vivamus sollicitudin metus eget eros.

Please note than an "official" read is not beyond debate, and the visual readers are open to discuss and alter their position if something was overlooked. It is important to emphasize that the visual readers team is equal to the rest of the members of this board. However, this effort to give consolidated opinion is aimed to make it easier for newcomers to understand themselves and the theory, rather than be presented with the confusion of many dispersed opinions from members at different/growing levels of ability.
|| What to do after Discovering your Type?
As you may have noticed, the profiles for the types are not yet written. This is primarily because we wish to base our descriptions on accurate data from a broad range of people, and having finally found an empirical framework from which to identify the Jungian types, we're in the process of acquiring that data in order to correct the many misconceptions in profiles present up to this point in systems such as Socionics, Beebes, Myers-Briggs, Keirsey. We believe it is only possible to correct our understanding of the psychologies by not relying on hypothesis, but studying the actual humans who belong to said type.
Thus to help make this happen, there is a biographies section on the forum titled "The Experience of Being a Type" where we encouraged officially typed members to share more about their specific psychology and help us learn the reality of your type and correct the misconceptions/stereotypes previously associated with it. It is also a place where you can learn and read up on the mental/emotional/physical experience that other types have from being themselves. Once sufficient perspective is gathered, the profiles will be created, but (don't worry) no personal info or specific details will be shared.
